Anderson of Grand Island said on 03/30/2015 09:42 AM (Private Message) Sir, thank you for your input. We take our online reviews very seriously and your review of your recent visit has us concerned. It has only been a relatively short amount of time that we have been willing to market sub-$5,000 used vehicles as a pre-auction benefit to shoppers. We typically have sent these to local auctions right away where they are then bought and resold by smaller local used and buy-here-pay-here lots. That range of used vehicle is hard to represent in the way we want as they all typically have issues, cosmetic and mechanical. Most of the issues don't warrant major repair as the cost would put them out of market price ranges. The only items we will fix are safety issues as it pertains to braking and turn signals, etc. All other issues, known or unknown, are not covered or warrantied and are sold "As-Is". Vehicles that can't be brought to a base safety level are sent to auction immediately. If you feel that you were treated unfairly or felt that the staff was rude, then please let me know how to best reach you to discuss. Thank you. Sometimes as a dealership you cannot please every customer no matter how hard you try and from the the beginning Melissa was one of those customers. Our sales advisor, Gary, fully explained the situation on the Taurus not being a Ford Certified Pre-owned vehicle, but we could do it at a cost of $500. Melissa declined this option. Gary explained to her that not all pre-owned Ford vehicles are certified, but there is a cost and process associated with Certifying a vehicle through the Ford CPO program. The price of the vehicle she purchased was priced according to market for a pre-owned 2014 Ford Taurus Limited and the price of her trade was also negotiated. KBB, do not offer Retail Pricing or book values for a 2014 Ford Taurus since it is so new. It will provide local vehicles for sale within the market and will show you vehicles with different options and across all trim levels (hers was a Limited, the highest package). She is probably comparing her purchased vehicle to other lower trim level and optioned vehicles. When she claims the vehicle was dirty and not detailed. At the end of this response are links to a set of pictures of the vehicle she purchased taken less than 10 days prior to her purchasing the vehicle. As you can see this vehicle was near spotless and fully detailed prior to her purchase. At the time of finalizing financing and looking at the options (she wanted taxes and registration fees rolled into the loan) we offered her financing options with a lower APR and lower monthly payment than the financing offer she brought into us. After the deal was completed she came back to the dealership complaining more about her taxes and about the vehicle. Our General Manager and partner called and offered up an additional key fob ($500) free to her. Again, she agreed and we moved on, only later to find out she was upset about something else. In this deal we went above and beyond trying to get her credit approved for full purchase price, plus taxes and registration paid for, plus other little things along the way. We walked away after agreeing to the free key fob. In regards to her vehicle getting listed as a non-smoker, this was a mistake on our listing system. It lists and writes descriptions for online marketing with the 'non-smoking' tag in the marketing writeup. Once we find this listing errors we correct them immediately. It's not to deceive a customer or to misrepresent a vehicle, it's an automation and error on entry of the vehicle into the system. http://images.dealertrend.com/companies/925/vehicles/12919093/36715379/84f5016180d6aba57ce93e2c7b01c9b4b7b90b01_large.jpeg?1413943957 http://images.dealertrend.com/companies/925/vehicles/12919093/36715381/6e68dd29560951d0d8cabe6e4e806dc867578a74_large.jpeg?1413943958 http://images.dealertrend.com/companies/925/vehicles/12919093/36715360/77268fff643dfc5df30ba259002727c0df287137_large.jpeg?1413943951 http://images.dealertrend.com/companies/925/vehicles/12919093/36715359/dbf1b2d4ec7b49a49542579bf4266f7fb91944a4_large.jpeg?1413943950 http://images.dealertrend.com/companies/925/vehicles/12919093/36715348/cc78b8b7455edb1088c9b03d6353735dcb1a3b4b_large.jpeg?1413943948
