I wish we could say it all went great, but we had two very different experiences at this dealership. The positive, our salesman, Wesley Watson. He was enthusiastic, willing to listen and most certainly, helped us find a car. If you visit this dealership in Avon, ask for Wesley! The negative, the finance office. When we began negotiating the price, which took place outside of the finance office, we eventually agreed on a price that my wife and I were willing to pay. In our minds, that was the price we were going to pay, plus sales tax, which we had already taken into account. As we began signing all of the paperwork, inside the finance office, we were handed the final purchase agreement that showed the price, sales tax and two HIDDEN fees. These two fees were NEVER discussed whatsoever, until we asked about them after reviewing the final purchase agreement. These fees accounted for $500.00 on top of the final price and sales tax. A $299.99 fee for an unexplained “Theft Deterrent” and the other $199.99 didn’t have a description next to it, which isn’t good. After my wife questioned the finance guy, it became apparent that he didn’t know how to explain these two HIDDEN fees. So he called the sales manager, who finally told us that the $199.99 is a document fee and the $299.99 was a fee they have to charge everyone, but was still never fully explained to us. The worst part of this was the sales manager, who was trying to equate the two HIDDEN fees to paying sales tax. This shady tactic was very disrespectful because the $500.00 in fees were on top of the final price and sales tax. After we threaten to leave multiple times and continued to fight these SHADY fees, the sales manager came back to us and said the dealership could only "eat the cost” of the so called "Theft Deterrent" fee. After he took off that fee, we ended up purchasing the car. Moral of the story, the dealership needs to discuss these fees during the negotiation process and have a better explanation of what they are for. To throw in two fees at the end, is nothing short of shady. As a customer, be ready to ask questions and don’t let them take advantage of you because it sure seemed like they were trying to take advantage of us. My wife and I still highly recommend Wesley Watson at this dealership because of how helpful and understanding he was. The only reason why I am giving Andy Mohr Toyota 4 starts is because of Wesley. As always, when you’re in the finance office, be ready to stand your ground. More

It wasn't until I left my comfort zone and found Andy Mohr and I couldn't have been happier in my decision. First, the sales staff. Wesley Watson was my salesman and he is by far the best salesman I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Wesley was well informed about my choice of vehicle, the features and always had an answer for my questions (pertaining to more than just my Avalon). Wesley bent over backwards to make sure I knew that I could trust him and Andy Mohr. Secondly, the finance department. Mr Burgher in the finance department made the piles of paperwork that comes with buying a car a breeze. Again, well informed with the process and was more than willing to help my wife and I out in getting a better rate than what we already had. Thanks again Mr. Burgher! Lastly, the service department. As a part of my buying experience at Andy Mohr, I needed some things addressed on my new Avalon. The service manager (forgive me as I didn't get their name) made sure that I was taken care of that day even with being booked at the time I was there. He pulled some strings and sure that again, I could trust Andy Mohr to do the right thing, even though I was not from the area and may not be a repeat customer. As I stated above, shop here ONLY if you want the best, because THEY HAVE THE BEST in every way, shape and form. I will always give praise by word of mouth to Andy Mohr Toyota, even when I'm 3.5 hours away. I just wish that the Toyota dealers here in Central Ohio were as stellar as Andy Mohr. More

Great customer service & car buying experience I was initially only going in to Andy Mohr to test drive the Hylander Hybrid for comparison to other models.
