I have been with Antwerpen Hyundai since 2008 when I first brought my Hyundai Accent. And continued to buy from them. In which I have brought my third car which is the latest Kona 2024 which I love. And I must say with this car it has a lot of technology that I am not sure of. And the staff was so nice and understanding to help me and go over all the new features it came with. I will continue to support and buy or even recommend friends to Antwerpen. All the cars that I have brought has never given me a problem and that is why I buy from Antwerpen Hyundai. My car was brought in the night before after hours by my daughter. She tried to get in the side door for key drop off. It was locked, however someone working behind the desk sat there looking at her but did daughter. She tried to get in the side door for key drop off. It was locked, however someone working behind the desk sat there looking at her but didn’t budge to offer any help. The roll up door to garage was opened so she walked in there yelling for someone. He politely took the key and said he’d put it where it belonged. The next day beginning a few minutes after 3 I tried calling to see if my car was complete. First time I was on hold over 8 minutes with a recording please don’t hang up. I didn’t, but I guess after a certain amount of time the recording hangs up on you. I called again and the same thing happened. Not once but twice. Finally just before 4pm after waiting with recording someone from service dept picked up. I told her who I was , she told me not everything was completed on my car. I asked to speak with the manager. He called me back 20 minutes later. I explained to him I wasn’t happy with the way things started with my daughter dropping the car off. He’s almost telling me I’m not telling the truth about my daughter trying to get in the doors. He shouted out ‘ I was there myself’ no one came in. I told him I’d be over after hours to pick it up. He told me he’d have the car down and someone would be available to take my payment when we got there. We got the, I go in the side door speak to the lady at the desk, she knows nothing. She had a ticket and key waiting there for someone else. She walked away and said I’ll try with someone in the back. She came back several minutes later the girl back there said she wasn’t told anything about me coming to get my car. Finally she said if I could pay cash she could help. I payed her she gave me my keys and said they don’t know where it is. I’m standing outside not knowing what direction to go. They said to push the alarm and look for lights. Thankful my daughter waited in her car for me since it was very dark. I started walking up the hill and a gentleman comes out and said you looked distressed can I help. I told him I was looking for my car. He told me to go back down to my daughter he’d help me. And he did, said he didn’t work on the Hyundai side but wanted to help cause could clearly see I was upset. I truly appreciated his kindness. But I couldn’t be more disappointed in the service department. From start to finish. The work such as oil change ,etc and recall was fine. But the mirror on the passenger side still shakes in the wind when I drive. They didn’t touch it . The paper said something about a light on passenger side was out. I’m not an idiot, I had everything listed that needed attention. You have my car an entire day and it’s still not right. Please tell Jack that’s not good service and I’m not happy. More
