Apple Ford is by far the best dealership for buying a new car or truck that I have every delt with. They were very friendly and courteous. We live almost 2 hours from the dealer and therefore did business over the phone to begin with. We were promised a good deal over the phone (WITH TAX AND TITLE est.)on an F-150 and asked if we could get th business over the phone to begin with. We were promised a good deal over the phone (WITH TAX AND TITLE est.)on an F-150 and asked if we could get the final number e-mailed to us. However, we were e-mailed a different number that came in over 2,000.00 MORE. So, we called back and reminded them that we needed the original price honored or we could not do business. We also reminded them that we had to drive almost 2 hours in order to see the truck and asked that they not waste our time if they couldn't honor our original deal. We were thrilled when we got a new e-mail with the original deal. So, we took our old truck, title, and checks all the way to the dealership with the happy hopes we would come home with a brand new F-150. NOT THE CASE!!!! After driving all the way up there with the hopes they could honor their WRITTEN quote, they turned around and wanted over 2,000.00 more dollars. These people are dishonest and we will never recommend them. More
I "used" to take my Explorer to Apple Ford for service because of location. Everytime I leave, I am disappointed and frustrated. The service dept. is incompetent. One time my car was in for an service because of location. Everytime I leave, I am disappointed and frustrated. The service dept. is incompetent. One time my car was in for an oil change and minor repair; it took 5 hours. The service rep realized their incompetence and did not charge me for the "service." Today, my car was in for the 2nd time for AC work. The first time it was in, they charged me $300. for diagnostic but failed to document the problem (I found this out late today). I dropped my car off last nite for an appointment this morning to fix the AC. At 5 PM today they call and say my car is not fixed and they don't know if they can even get the parts tomorrow. WHAT? These are only 2 instances of their lack of "service." More
I bought a 1993 Ford F150 XLT from Apple Ford 15 yrs/ ago. I was treated very well then and when I was ready to buy a new truck I went back to Apple Ford. I did not forget how they treated me when I boug ago. I was treated very well then and when I was ready to buy a new truck I went back to Apple Ford. I did not forget how they treated me when I bought my first truck from them. In march this year I bought a new Ford F150 Lariat. I was once again treated very well throughout the purchasing process. My truck was ordered from the factory and it arrived without a scratch on it! I also had some aftermarket items put on it at the dealer , again without any hassles . I found the people I encountered to be down to earth people like myself . They understand the little things that can be annoying when buying a new vehicle and eliminate them making your buying experience pleasant. I had a no pressure friendly buying experience at Apple Ford and would recommend the dealership to anyone in the market for buying a new Ford. More
Just purchased a new Mustang convertible at Apple - just dropped by the place and other than one or two minor options they had exactly the car I was looking for on the lot. The salesmen I dealt with, Hiko dropped by the place and other than one or two minor options they had exactly the car I was looking for on the lot. The salesmen I dealt with, Hiko and John, were great - no pressure, very direct and offered me the price that I'd expected based on research. I couldn't be happier with the experience. More
Things were a bit rocky to start but I think that was due to some confusion on both sides. Once we got things figured out everything was great. Jay R did a very nice job taking care of me and I look forward to some confusion on both sides. Once we got things figured out everything was great. Jay R did a very nice job taking care of me and I look forward to working with him again. I rated the Quality of work NA because the extra add ons to my car have not been done yet due to parts being on order. I suspect this however will be great once its completed. -Ben Smith More
Just wanted to thank you, guys, I had a great experience at the dealership on Saturday. I purchased the 2008 Dodge Charger SXT, and am in love with it. Smooth ride, looks great, and fits me extremely well at the dealership on Saturday. I purchased the 2008 Dodge Charger SXT, and am in love with it. Smooth ride, looks great, and fits me extremely well (tough to do, I'm 6'4"). I had it checked out by my mechanic yesterday, and he said everything with the car is in great condition. Brakes look good, tires are near-new, no problems with the car, and he could see that the oil had just been changed by Apple. That's the sort of professionalism that you expect, yet don't always receive (we bought a used car for my wife from a dealership up in Reading, PA, and had a different experience altogether). Simply put, Apple does it right. I just sold my Ford Bronco that I had for a dozen years (200,000 miles+ and still looks great), so although I am no longer a Ford owner, I'll always be one at heart. That was an incredible vehicle. All that to say - if, when I buy a car next, I have a Ford model in mind, I will absolutely be in touch with your dealership first and give you a chance at making the sale. I think all that's left to close the loop is to get the second car key made and delivered, and then I am certifiably a 100% satisfied customer. More
I had a very good experience at Apple Ford, and am very happy they had a vehicle I was looking for. This is the 2nd used vehicle I have purchased over the past several years through Stanley, and have been happy they had a vehicle I was looking for. We went to Apple Ford knowing exactly the car we wanted, and just wanted to take a quick test drive and see what they would give us on our trade in. First, when we walked in the door, the salesman greeted m and just wanted to take a quick test drive and see what they would give us on our trade in. First, when we walked in the door, the salesman greeted me and never said a word to or even looked at my wife after that. I didn't notice it at first, but she was not happy about that. We did our test drive with Gary, and he really knew the car and was very good about explaining everything about the car to us which I did like. Where everything really went wrong was when we came back to the sales floor and saw the trade in price offer. We had already been to a couple of other dealerships and gotten appraisals, so we knew the price range we were looking in. We weren't asking for anything crazy, just a fair offer. They came back with an offer of 27,000, which was 2,000 less than one dealer, and 5,000 less than another dealer. These other dealers didn't have the cars we wanted and we didn't want to have to order the car, and this is why we went to Apple. Well, when we told them we wanted them to at least match the other dealers James Koser the manager came over and explained why they couldn't go up on the trade in price. First he told us that they had a similar trade in recently and they only sold it for 29,000 which was a lie. We went home that night, and the vehicle he talked about was on their site listed for 35,000! Then he told us there was no one else that would come close to the price we were asking, and when I explained that other dealers already had he basically laughed. We left there so angry at his blatant attempts to con us, and his outright lies. Yes, their prices are low and they have a great deal with service for life on your car, but it's only worth it if you don't mind terrible customer service and being screwed on your trade in. There are so many other great dealers out there, don't waster your time. More
We only went to Apple to see a new color of fiesta that was hard to find, and did not intend to buy it there. We intended to use the AAA buying service instead. I told the salesman what I had seen price- was hard to find, and did not intend to buy it there. We intended to use the AAA buying service instead. I told the salesman what I had seen price-wise on AAA and what I wanted for the trade. He said, OK. I was pleasantly surprised. He then wrote up the sales agreement and tried to charge the $795 delivery charge twice, hoping that I did not know that the charge is already part of the MSRP and Invoice prices. I pointed this out and he had it corrected. I am skeptical that this was an honest oversight. We ordered the car and came back 2 months later. In fairness, we actually ordered one car and then changed our order and ordered another one. They were very nice about this. The purchase process took 4 hours. We waited a few times for different folks to be available. The Customer Service lady tried very hard to sell us rust-proofing and undercoating, using "today only" tactics like a free lojack system, but today only. The finance guy scribbled down warranty offerings without asking us any questions about what we wanted or how much we drive the car. He had no warranty detailed literature or information. His "time of purchase" price for the warranty (the one option he offered) was $2400, it is $2050 on the ford website, or less without the first day rental option. He also offered a great deal on a prepaid maintenance plan. It was over $2000, the most expensive I can find on the ford website now for my car is $1455. Again, no details about exactly what this plan covers. In the end we are happy with the car and the deal. This process has been a mixed bag and you always need to be very careful and research everything... More
