Simple buyout purchase of my leased vehicle took hours and was changed 3 times. salesmen took all documents ahead to make my visit quick and made an appointment finance knew i was coming in and gave me fi and was changed 3 times. salesmen took all documents ahead to make my visit quick and made an appointment finance knew i was coming in and gave me final purchase price from finance dept so I could ok with my bank and get approval ahead for bank to finalize processing loan. 2nd price change was presented by felix when he came out before confirming. I Told Felix it was higher no explanation. Total =taxes, delivery fee, residual valve doesnt change and he can look up taxes for my county to know for the deal taxes doesn't change. They knew my address ahead to calculate. Felix offered no explanation. I waited and called my bank knew when their payment was different I have said send or give me purchase agreenent for bank to process for him but didn't know what was going on till I reached Felix's office to see if he fixed total amount. Then in his office price again, went down closer to original price total but different. He said filing my loan through them would make easier. Really it just made it so my loan agreement and payment specifics were taken from my loan rep and control of my first date and payment was set and Credit pulled again that was already done by bank and not shown final loan payment till final paperwork in his office. I wanted to set date with bank and to adjust to amount worked with bank didn't know he was taken over for bank. My bank said they now can't change payment details and payment date AH set. Next time I buy a car I will have approval letter and insist on dealing with bank only to finalize loan. I will ask bank to figure taxes and add other known amounts to have total ready for dealer. No back and forth no documents ahead so dealer can run my credit and bogart the money and loan. Also you shouldn't have to pay a delivery fee on a car youre driving and drive there to purchase. Never had this issue of total price to purchase dealing with buying my Toyota out at end of lease. Taxes an gov fees are set and shouldn't change for no reason. I would have liked just a explaination and just given an exact payment presented before finalizing the paperwork. I dont blame my salesmen because he got the 1st buyout price from finance dept. He wanted to make this stress less and fast. The buyout is a simple transaction and shouldn't be stressful. I felt played and deceived and I'm sure Felix thought I was being difficult and I never was rude just kept asking about differences of price total and mostly kept a smile with my salesmen waiting. Final price finally looked right but I wasn't happy with my dealings with Felix and how all played out. More
