I came to help two friends run their lease-buyout to completion. Friends recommended working with Kyle Dykes at Arapahoe Hyundai. I was asked to come because I am capable with arithmetic, understand t completion. Friends recommended working with Kyle Dykes at Arapahoe Hyundai. I was asked to come because I am capable with arithmetic, understand the nuances of calculations, and can spot when dealers are given to the crasser extremes of dishonesty. It was not evident with Kyle Dykes (salesperson), Brian Caton (finance mgr), and the dealer. Kyle Dykes was friendly, brought coffee, signposted everything he was going to do and remained one step ahead. He is an amicable bloke. There were no surprises; he did not talk out both sides of his mouth. It turns out that Kyle Dykes only works on appointment, which at first annoyed me but then it made sense. He is so good at his job, so professional, that customers must call in to make time with him. I had to do the same and now I appreciate that. We had a great time with Kyle. I had done all of our calculations ahead of time: payoff, interest, terms, taxes, title, warranty, gap, dealer handling, and I understand the process of buying. We next met with finance contractor, Brian Caton. I checked, re-checked, checked again, all of his numbers throughout the process and I found no discrepancy. I was satisfied to see that no matter how I went through the paperwork I could not find any hidden charge not disclosed. Brian secured an interest rate significantly lower than from our local credit union pre-approval and we wrapped the vehicle in a comprehensive 160,000 total mile vehicle service contract (or 8 years added), GAP, and interior cabin and exterior windshield and painless dent repair protection including the tires and wheels. All of the added products fit into our budget. I am very pleased with the quality of their work. Five stars to them both. The reason why I gave four stars to the dealership is because it is in bad need of renovation. Makes Kyle's suit look bad. The interior is a cross between the ghastly and the comical; like something out of a 1970s bowling alley. You can convert the space to a bingo hall and no one would know the difference. The other reason is because it took over four hours to complete the lease buyout, a simple process, and we were the only customers in the store on a sleepy, silent, snowy morning. I signed for my house in shorter order. Nevertheless, kudos to Kyle Dykes and Brian Caton. More
