Stereotypical Car Salesman I recently purchased a 2015 Hyundai Sonata at Arapahoe Hyundai from Seth Ringstad. He was a nice guy when I bought the vehicle, but that didn't last, I recently purchased a 2015 Hyundai Sonata at Arapahoe Hyundai from Seth Ringstad. He was a nice guy when I bought the vehicle, but that didn't last, unfortunately. Soon after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed that the inside door handle on the back passenger door was torn to shreds, and indeed that the door couldn't be opened from the inside. I brought this to the attention of Seth, who said they'd check it out when I brought the car in a few days later for window tinting. When Seth called to tell me that the tinting was done, he also said that the door handle had been fixed. However, when I arrived, it was in the same poor condition as before. Seth was not in at the moment, so Dawn at the front desk told me that the problem could be fixed in December (as I am a college student, and this was when I would return to town for Christmas break). I happily agreed to this and left. After a few days, I called to set up that appointment to get the door handle fixed. Seth, Dawn, and all of the other employees at Arapahoe Hyundai immediately began denying that they had ever agreed to fix the handle (even though I have the agreement in writing). When my father went in to speak to the staff, they ignored him until he took the initiative of speaking to their manager, who essentially told him that there was nothing that could be done. Similarly, when I called about the incident today (9/2/19) Dawn first lied to me by saying that Seth was unavailable, and then hung up on me after saying she would put me on hold until he was available. Sure enough, when I called back immediately he picked up right away, but continued to claim that there was nothing that could be done. To say that the staff at Arapahoe Hyundai has been unprofessional would be a massive understatement. They have been downright dishonest, and because of that I will gladly never purchase a Hyundai product again. I would like this situation to be resolved, as I still have it in writing that the handle would be fixed, which has yet to happen. This is also a clear violation of state law, which states that "misrepresentation in a motor vehicle sale is punishable under Colorado law." More

Service has gone downhill I have had to come in twice (of 3 visits in the last year) for botched jobs. 1st issue-Came in for oil change, they wanted to do a recall item. A couple of days later, I had to come back to fix the recall item that was done incorrectly. I had lost power and had to unsafely drive into the dealership. All I got was a sorry- no free oil changes, etc for wasting my time to come back. 2nd time, I had an oil change. Asked them to rotate my tires. They started the job by taking off rear passenger tire and NOT putting the lug nuts back on tight enough. Then decided my tires did not need to be rotated- did not communicate this to me as I asked specifically if this was done. My tire could have come off. Very UNSAFE! The lug nuts were stripped and the whole unit needed to be replaced. Again nothing for my time or inconvenience. More
