To your credit your shop foreman was the first person at a Hyundai dealer that knew a 4” stitching issue on my drivers seat would be covered under the warranty. Shortline after two visits wouldn’t even look at it unless I left my car. So after your store finally confirmed it was covered you ordered the seat cover. About 8 days later you called and arranged an appointment. I was told that Saturday isn’t a good day to perform a 5-6 hour job. It was then agreed upon that I’d bring my car in Tuesday night and be given a loaner car, to which I agreed. So after waiting 8 days because of the timing of these “loaner” cars was told to have my car there at 5. So I took two hours off work drive down to drop my car. After waiting for about 35 mins your service agent came and got me and said he was ready. After about 5 mins discussing my insurance, my drivers license and returning this “loaner” the agent then said you didn’t buy this car here did you? I said no. He comes back after visiting with the service manager and tells me I can’t have a loaner. Owners policy. I explained the whole deal to him and asked him if he thought I was making up this loaner car deal? I told him it was his organization that asked me to bring this in today versus the day that actually worked for me which was Saturday. He said he was sorry owners policy. So he gave me some options none of which would get me to work or back to get my car. So all of the sudden an opening on Saturday appeared. At 0815. I’m absolutely livid. I just wasted 3 hours when this could have been handled at the original call. And this is just the beginning. Saturday comes I arrive at 0805 to drop my car. Was told it was a 5 hour job plus they were gonna do an oil change (which they gave me for free) so I figured 5.5-6 hours. I got home that Saturday night at 545pm, all of this because of an owners policy and this dealerships lack of internal communication. Maybe you should worry more about servicing your customers than selling cars in the service area. Signs posted about their sales....I’m pretty sure if this owner who apparently made this policy ever had to waste his whole Saturday he wouldn’t be this nice! More
Arapahoe is number one for a good reason! Traveled from Alabama to Denver to purchase a newer car for my daughter. Contacted Arapahoe by email to make them aware of my intentions and asked for a point of contact. Lawrence Bradshaw was the name provided, turned out to be an excellent choice. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I explained my purpose and situation, my wife and I previewed several cars that fit my parameters and we scheduled a time that my daughter could join us to pick out exactly what she wanted. Lawernce was very thorough, explained everything to my satisfaction, and more importantly, to my daughter's satisfaction. There were other personnel that I interacted with during the five plus hours it took to finalize all the details and watch my daughter drive away in her "new" ride. I don't know how many units were sold that day, but there were multiple sales personnel dealing with customers. This was a pleasant vehicle buying experience and I feel a personal connection with Arapahoe, knowing that should my daughter experience any problems with this car, she will be adequately taken care of. Good for my peace of mind. More
