Unpleasant and expensive experience I received an email from Arapahoe Hyundai with two coupons, one for an oil change plus general inspection and another for maintenance of the air condi I received an email from Arapahoe Hyundai with two coupons, one for an oil change plus general inspection and another for maintenance of the air conditioning system. As I was busy, I sent my son (a 40 year old man) that was not treated well in the visit and: 1. The oil was changed. 2. The usual general inspection with a report was made. 3. Nothing was done in the air conditioning system, because (apparently) there is a leakage in the compressor. Repairing the compressor was quoted $ 705. As I did not accepted, I was charged more than $ 100. The total visit for the oil change and the quote was $ 167.82. They stole my money and I should be refunded.. I bought that car and other cars at that dealership years ago, but the service department has deteriorated and I will not come back for service or to buy another car. R. Biasca More

The car was due my daughter, so I wanted her to pick the car she wanted. The advertised price of the cars were far below what other dealerships were advertising for the same car. They had plenty of options. The team was friendly and did not pressure me to do anything. I would highly recommend Arapahoe Hyundai... Especially Lawrence, the internet sales manager. More

High Pressure Sales Tactics I was subjected to intimidation, bullying, ridicule and high pressure sales tactics. I wanted to sleep on my decision to buy, as I have done with ever I was subjected to intimidation, bullying, ridicule and high pressure sales tactics. I wanted to sleep on my decision to buy, as I have done with every major purchase in my life, and while they did not physically restrain me from walking out the door, they used every method of intimidation and pressure to keep me there. Their strategy is to ask you to state the specific points of the deal you are not comfortable with. Then they pick away at those points one at a time, and they get you to admit they have satisfied that individual point. Then, without giving you a chance to pull back for even a few minutes and think about the deal, they tell you they have answered all your objections and that it makes no sense to them why you won't sign right here, right now. They continue until eventually, you feel you actually have no other choice but to sign, even though you are still not comfortable with the deal. It didn't help any that there were often two or three of them sitting around you in very confined spaces. I might as well have been in a police interrogation room with a bright light shining in my face. Once they got me to verbally agree to a deal, they then delivered me to their financial guy. What an experience THAT was. I thought I was brought to this guy's office to just buy the car, but suddenly he starts pushing an expensive maintenance agreement. I felt especially ridiculed by this guy. He used fear tactics by telling me that the electronics in my Hyundai could break down and easily cost me thousands to repair. (And this was a Hyundai dealership, trying to sell me a used Hyundai! Apparently they have no faith in their own cars.) In the end, he made me feel like I would be an idiot unless I enrolled in a maintenance agreement. Then he used a stereotypical used car sales tactic by showing me only the "small" difference in monthly payments between the various levels of agreements. However, the total maintenance agreement cost was more than $2500, which was a significant percentage of the price of this used car. I could have easily lived without the maintenance agreement. Although it has been more than a month since I was there, I am still losing sleep over this sales experience because I allowed myself to get pushed into signing without feeling comfortable about the deal. I recommend that you stay away from this place unless you are truly prepared to walk out the door if the deal doesn't feel right. More
