Terrific sales person and lots of selections Vincent Porris was terrific. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. The price that was offered was fantastic. We visited this dealership after looking at a competitor vehicle. The salesman, Nick, listened to what we wanted and took us in the right direction. We took the vehicle on a test drive and liked what we saw. Nick was very knowledgable about the vehicle and answered all of our questions. The sales transaction went about as smooth as these things can go and we feel like we got a fair deal. This is our first Hyundai so hopefully it turns out to be a reliable vehicle. The warranty is awesome! More
I have a service plan and was in for an oil change. The service employee saw that the splash guard under the car was broken and asked me if I wanted a quote. I said yes, but when I picked up the car, the mechanic had exchanged it without my consent. When I asked if the car dealership "owns their mistakes"...The answer was : "We can put the old one back" on. I paid the $225 but was not happy. Wait time could/should be trimmed (after sale price agreed upon, customer could come back to finalize signature of paperwork), 3-4 hrs is way to long for a customer to be waiting around (my opinion). First Oil & Filter Change for new 2018 Santa Fe Sport Turbo I will give the Service Center my recommendation because of the personnel that I interacted with. The Service Advisor, Jordan Sandell, was excellent. I will give the Service Center my recommendation because of the personnel that I interacted with. The Service Advisor, Jordan Sandell, was excellent. My comments have nothing to do with him. That said, from the very first phone call to the Service Department, the woman that took my call and scheduled my oil & filter change, Noel, was also advised that I had a couple of other items that I felt needed attention. My rear view mirror was a little loose and needed tightened. Plus, I thought the front parking sensors were not working. Come to find out, my model does not have sensors as it has the front camera. My mistake! When I scheduled the appointment, I thought I was also going to get these two additional items checked out. As it turns out, with an oil & Filter change, there is not enough time scheduled to diagnose and repair other issues. I was informed that I would need to make another appointment to have these items handled. Well, as it turned out, both issues were handled. The mirror did need a little tightening , which only took a couple of minutes. And, I don't have front sensors as mentioned. So, there was nothing that needed to be done! Here's where I have some issues with the Service Department over-all. The waiting room is in serious need of updating. In the first stall of the computer desk area, the electrical outlet is hanging loose from the wall with electrical wires exposed. Serious safety issue! The general furnishings are quite old and the generally area looks unclean. I don't think I am nit picking, it really could use some updating, maybe some new paint and provide some more refreshments other than coffee out of a machine that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time and just bottled water. I realize Arapahoe Hyundai is extremely short on space, but the service waiting area is very small and feels cramped and depressing. Finally, upon getting ready to leave the service area with my car, I just happened to notice that my brand new left rear tire had a big screw lodged into it. I got Jordan and asked him to look at it, witch he did. He got some tools and was able to back out the screw. It was longer than we had hoped, but it entered the tire in such a way that it seems it did not puncture the tire deep enough to cause a leak. Jordan sprayed the tire with some foam to check for a leak. We could not see any leaking at that time. I am most upset that I have a brand new vehicle, now with a new tire that might begin to leak in the near future and leave me, or my wife, stranded on the side of the road at some point. It will take me some time before I trust the tire. Furthermore, upon driving out of the service area, I had to dodge two more screws in the path leading up to the front of the dealership. It appeared to me the entire drive path could use a good policing of screws and other foreign objects. In closing, I received excellent care from Jordan and a couple of other service representatives/technicians. I did not get their names. My over-all remarks have to do with the general cleanliness of the service waiting area, electrical outlet not being safely attached to the wall and picking up a large screw in my brand new tire. Seriously, the Service waiting area is simply depressing. I will considering taking my new vehicle to McDonald Hyundai next time for any service or warranty needs. More

After reducing my bill based on an agreed adjustment, I then was still charged the original amount. The Service Manager was rude and disrespectful to me, which is never acceptable. Additionally, once I had walked outside, I discovered my vehicle had grease marks on the exterior and smudge marks on the interior, with numerous fingerprints on the window. I was so furious I didn't dare go back inside. I likely will not bring my two Hyundai vehicles here again. More
