2018 Elantra Sport Purchase Turned Sour James Brown, our salesperson and Leo Zombek, the sales manager, were exemplary during the entire sales process. They were patient, knowledgeable, thorough and extremely helpful in determining the right car. KB Brader, the Finance Manager, was also fantastic and extremely transparent in providing information on all my questions and finance add-on options. We left feeling great about our purchase that day. However, the following day we came in to pay the remainder of the down payment and Brian Caton (the on-duty finance manager, as KB was off that day) was extremely unpleasant and ruined the entire purchasing experience. Never have I met someone so annoyed and upset about accepting a check for eleven thousand dollars as Brian Caton. Based on our experience the prior day, we were happy to come in and expectant of the same amazing service we'd received the day before. Instead, it was the complete opposite. Rather than responding to our questions professionally and patiently, he was rude, abrupt and condescending. He was annoyed I asked to whom I should make the check out to, he was annoyed that I didn't have the check ready, he was annoyed to provide a receipt, and seemed to lack any understanding of acceptable customer service. Rather than explain the document retention policy and offer an alternative he replied with "I don't care what you're comfortable with, you aren't getting the paperwork". In summary, the 10 minute interaction we had with Brian the Finance Manager ruined the entire purchasing experience and it is for this reason that I will not recommend Arapahoe Hyundai nor will I return there for service on my vehicle. More
