Left a sour taste in my mouth Other than finding me a good price on a vehicle I like, all other aspects of the car buying process were much less than desirable. Problems processing my credit union pre-approval (even though the sticker was on the front door), car not delivered in the manner promised (salesman told me he would have the headlights buffed/cleaned), & not providing me an emissions voucher were just the beginning. Less than 24 hours after driving the car home the Check Engine Light was on & would not pass the emissions test I now have to pay for, plus of course repairs to make it pass. Undoubtedly, buying used cars involves risk. I felt buying from a 'reputable' dealer, claiming to have 'fully inspected' the vehicle, would be safer than buying from a 'Mom & Pop' dealer...this 'reputable' dealer would not even discuss repair options with me. Im afraid that they just wanted to unload this vehicle. Seems like their C- BBB rating is a little high to me. More
