Changed our minds We had not considered Hyundai before we walked into the showroom. Bottom line is that as soon as we actually drove the car we both loved it. The Sonata was clearly superior to the comparable Mazda and Subaru we were considering in terms of comfort, power, fuel efficiency (I strongly recommend that anyone try the hybrid), handling, and a surprisingly low price.
