After going to several dealerships and being promised the world and only getting lip service, I bought a new Sonata from Arapahoe Hyundai. Sales staff (Patrick OConnor), Sales Manager and Finance Manager wer world and only getting lip service, I bought a new Sonata from Arapahoe Hyundai. Sales staff (Patrick OConnor), Sales Manager and Finance Manager were always respectful, courteous, and polite throughout the entire process. I kept waiting for the Dealership Tango to begin (Where the dealer says one thing and they break their word):). But it never happened! Patrick made me an offer I could not refuse and I jumped on it without any hesitation....We agreed on a price on a car and they kept their word on price, car, and finance rate...This is the first time that I went to a dealership to get information and I bought a car on the spot!......It was refreshing to deal with such a honest dealership. A side note: I went back to Arapahoe Hyundai a week later to get a couple of accessories installed and Patrick gave me a couple of coupons that ended up saving me a couple of hundred dollars. More

I was searching for a Hyundai 2012 Accent hatcbach GS model with a manual transmission. Here in Colorado the manual is not that popular and in the whole country there were 25 total. They explained the price involved with shipping it and advised me that it would be cheaper for me to contact the dealer directly and remove the "middle man". Even though they would lose a sale these 2 were honest and upfront with me. They even sent me the dealer invoice so I would know how much the dealer paid for it. THis dealer advertise that they had 51 Elantras in stock. When I called, they had 1 (one!!) I was in need of a new car since my current vehicle's transmission was going out. I read a whole bunch of great reviews about 2011 sonata. I was looking for a Toyota Camry and Arapahoe Hyundai had a used one on their lot. It started off good, the sale was going well and I informed Ray that the keyless entry was not working and he said it was th a used one on their lot. It started off good, the sale was going well and I informed Ray that the keyless entry was not working and he said it was the battery so I went on with the sale. I bought the car and replaced the battery of the keyless entry remote and the system still did not work and I noticed on the drive home the speakers in the rear were blown. I called Ray and he told me to bring it down and they would look at it, so I went down there the next day and he said that he would schedule a service time and let me use a car to go to work. The next available service time was about 5 days so i said ok I will bring it back then, so a day before the service appointment Ray called and said that it is Toyota and they can’t do anything to fix it in their service department. So he said I needed to take it to a Toyota Dealership to get fixed and they could not do anything for me. I was very upset that he gave me the run around with the service department so I asked to speak with his Manager and he got me in contact with Randy O'Rourke the Sales Manager. Randy then informed me that nothing was in writing to fix the problem and they were not obligated to perform any repairs on the vehicle. I finely got him to agree to comp me with some oil changes for half the programming fee for the keyless entry and if the system was bad he would look into the repairs of the system. I tried to get the key programmed through a specialty Toyota Mechanic and the programming did not work and the said the whole system need to be replaced for $800 dollars. I informed Randy of the repairs, so he said he can look into an aftermarket keyless entry system to replace the factory system. He got back in touch with me and said he could get a system installed for $280 but I would have to pay for it but it was a dealer special and the unit was at cost and he had to call in some favors to get the unit at cost and it had to be installed through their service department. I called around to local audio electronic stores and they quoted me the same price. I asked if they would meet me half way and pay 140 and I would pay 140, they then stated for the 100 time that there is nothing in writing and they are not obligated to make any repairs on the vehicle. I informed Randy that the car was advertised with keyless entry, he then informed me that if I wanted to take legal action the advertisement stated the car had keyless entry it did not state the car had a working keyless entry system. I then asked to talk to the General Manager David Zinsmeister and as you can guess, he stated that nothing was in writing. So do not buy a used car with this dealer and if I were in the market for a Hyundai I would find another dealer as well, there service is bad and they are not truthful about the cars and you would be better off with any other dealer. I hope this helps someone who is interested in a new or used car to avoid this dealership. More

This has by far been the worst car buying experience I have ever had, and I used to be a diehard Hyundai fan after I purchased an Elantra back in 2003 and was so impressed with the performance and the ser have ever had, and I used to be a diehard Hyundai fan after I purchased an Elantra back in 2003 and was so impressed with the performance and the service. Never again. I spent hours at this dealership buying a car and had the most typical "slimy car salesman" experience I've ever seen. First,I had worked with the salesman ahead of time on interest rates and what our monthly payment would be. These numbers never came up again when we went to buy the car. Once he got us in there, the price was about $150 higher per month, and the interest rate was 1% higher than what he had told us. When we kept asking why, he would make things up about taxes which made no sense- Not over $100 a month for 6 years. Then when we say it's too much he calls his sales manager and tells them, in front of us, that "they think we are trying to rip them off". Well they were! All of sudden they realize they've made a "mistake", and the price dropped from $520 a month to $405. WHAT? A this point I want to leave these crooks but we've been there so long that I just want the car. After we make the deal, we go into an office to sign the paperwork, and proceed to have 45 minutes of a hard sell on an extended warranty. This guy would not take no for an answer and we were exhausted and just wanted to leave. Ridiculous-- Hyundai has a ten year warranty already, the best out there...why put people thru that? After we got the car, we find out that something is wrong with the transmission and it needs to be replaced. It jerks back and forth when we slow down and speed up and they said we need a new one. We've been chasing them down for it for weeks, as they say it is coming on a date and it never does, it's backordered, etc. We're at 10,000 miles and still calling them everyday to have it fixed. I recommend staying away from this dealer. The overall experience has been horrible and I have gone from only buying Hyundais and telling everyone how great they are, to looking for another car brand for my next car. More

I purchased a new Veracruz Limited from Longs Peak Hyundai, waited for delivery after receiving paperwork and paying for the SUV..only to find out the next day that they never had the car!! I spoke with Leo at Arapahoe and he located the exact car that I already purchased, brought it to the dealership, gave me essentially the same deal on to hard to find Veracruz, and delivered the car an hour away to my home at 9:30PM. The rate sucked but it wasn't their fault my credit has issues...and Leo drove the car to my home! I don't know much about Arapahoe Hyundai, but Leo is the real deal in every since of the word. He is a professional and committed to his profession. As for Longs Peak...I'm reporting them to the Attorney General and suing them next week. More
