I first met Shelley Barr in February and wasn’t quite ready to purchase. Shelley was respectful for follow up and I went to see her for my new purchase. I visited the dealership once to take a test-drive but otherwise managed the relationship over the phone / text / email, including negotiations. We reached a deal over the phone -- in itself not noteworthy -- that was then exactly what was ready for me when I arrived at the dealership: no new fees or charges, no last-minute surprises, no monkey business. I really appreciate a dealer doing what they said they would do, and it made it possible for us to purchase a car on a very tight schedule without burning hours in a dealership, running back and forth with finance managers and haggling over every last item. One additional positive was the right balance of communication from our buying partner (Dale Zalusky): we knew Dale was on it with us, but he was not at all pushy. He seemed to focus on acting as a partner on a big decision more than as a sales rep. More

Quick and comfortable car buying experience. I went to Sullivan this evening and was completely amazed at the customer service I received. I did not feel pressured AT ALL. Gabe was so pleasant and patient with all my questions. If he didn’t have the answer he quickly got it for me. I even received a discount, on what was already and amazing price on my SUV, from Dan Szwec. The process was quick, (as quick as it could be with all my questions) and very comfortable. KBB now has a feature which gives you a valuation and several dealers in your area willing to pay that amount, subject to an inspection to confirm the accuracy of your initial KBB inputs. I had doubts, but what the heck.... Sullivan Buick GMC was identified as a preferred (or "Buying Center") dealer, which seemed relevant. My experience with Sullivan Buick was 5 Star. The process was efficient, I found the personnel to be honest/direct, there was no pressure, and they were willing to provide straight forward answers to my questions. In short, the sale was a very favorable experience throughout. Ultimately, after making an adjustment for an error in my initial Kelley Bluebook inputs which was clearly my mistake, Sullivan Buick did just what Kelley Bluebook claimed: It paid the Kelley Bluebook figure right on the spot, and the final sale amount was fully $2,700 above the amount offered by CarMax! On the basis of my experience, I strongly recommend Kelley Bluebook and Sullivan Buick GMC as a resource for anyone seeking to sell a used car. Great Experience! More
