I have a 1997 4 Runner with 247,000 miles on it. I’ve always depended on Mike Sandelin and the skilled technicians at Arlington Toyota to keep it running in tip top shape. Latest problem was an odd noise coming from the engine. I figured it was on its last leg. Mike’s technician Poppy figured out it was the fan clutch locking up. Fixed and the engine sounds like it did the day I bought it. Cost to fix amounted to about one car payment. I can live with that! More

I am not happy about this latest experience getting my car serviced by Arlington Toyota on Wednesday February 2nd. I informed the service advisor that my car’s hood was not opening together with requestin car serviced by Arlington Toyota on Wednesday February 2nd. I informed the service advisor that my car’s hood was not opening together with requesting the 100,000 miles service. I got a text from Laura saying the car was ready. I picked it up. I tried to open the hood on Friday and Saturday morning and it was still not opening. I brought it back to the dealership Saturday morning. Spoke to Laura and and the mechanic and he sprayed it with lubricant and said it is fine. I was not informed about the lock and the fact that it was not functioning properly. I had to learn to hard way that I have to stick my finger all the way inside to get it to release. I am not happy with the lack of communication. I was not informed that it was not completely fixed or what was wrong or the price of replacing it. I have been a loyal customer at Arlington Toyota for over 7 years and I spend good money there. I don’t like being treated nonchalantly as a customer and I did not like the attitude of the mechanic. I felt like he was annoyed, but for what? I have always had great experiences, however, this one was not good. More

I got in at 8:00am and was out by 9:30 am. I was in a comfortable waiting room with peace and quiet. Did not hear the constant calling of customers and chatter btwn the employees. We were in the market for a new vehicle and began discussions with various sales consultants at different dealerships. We met Matt Romano at Arlington Toyota via phone (since we live several hours away from Jacksonville. Matt listened “aggressively” (which I really appreciated) during our phone discussions. Matt also communicated well via email and text. When he located “our” vehicle, we sent a deposit and, true to his word, Matt held on to the vehicle (because several people wanted it) so they we could make the drive to pick it up. The “sharks” were still circling when we arrived. We had a great experience with the staff and were treated very warmly and kindly. Thank you, Matt and Arlington Toyota! More
