The biggest problem I had with the dealership was that a salesman will often tell you the vehicle you’re buying has options that it doesn’t and then will do nothing to help you resolve that. Arlington Toyota has never disappointed me. My RAV4 was having a start up issue and I took it into the dealership. They diagnosed the problem in a short time and I had it back within a few hours. Responded to a listing on Auto Trader. Car was in stock,so I went to the dealership and took a look,took a drive.Liked the car and was prepared to buy.I have excellent credit,so I had financing in ha stock,so I went to the dealership and took a look,took a drive.Liked the car and was prepared to buy.I have excellent credit,so I had financing in hand.No issue there. Then... The salesperson wrote up an invoice that was a $3500 above the advertised price.The car was 9 years old and the invoice listed $1800 for accessories.This goes well beyond disreputable and can only be described as dishonest. I pointed out the absurdity of trying to charge for accessories on a USED car and was condescended and lied to.I left the dealership when it was apparent that this was a bait and switch and won’t return. One last note-I thought that these tactics had faded away now that people can read honest reviews (like the one you’re reading now),but I guess that you still have to have your guard up for unscrupulous dealers and their gimmicks.This is NOT how a reputable company does business. More
