I went in to trade up from a 2008 Sonata to a 2013 Sonata. I owed more on the car than it was currently worth but they took the car on a trade in and leveraged every possible rebate available and my n Sonata. I was treated with courtesy and respect and they did not use high pressure sale tactics to sell mw things that I did not want. A complete bait and switch. Was told one price after my credit score was ran, we shook hands on a deal of $199 a month, I made my first payment of $199 an hour later was told they could not do that price, credit score was ran, we shook hands on a deal of $199 a month, I made my first payment of $199 an hour later was told they could not do that price, it went up to $279 a month at which point I had to pay the difference and registration fees. I was offered no apology, no assistance at all, and no explination as to why after my credit score was ran, and Russ worked the numbers... Why $199 wasn't the price. Russ specifically told me that with my credit score they normally do not make lease agreements, but since they had a good relationship with the bank he was able to offer me $199 to lease, 401 to finance. After speaking with manager Chris mooney, who's attitude was, "well you signed the paperwork, too late" I was promised a call back from him explaining how Russ came to the initial amount given he has all my information at that point...I NEVER received a call back. The only purchase I was satisfied with that day was the bootleg dvd I bought from some guy selling them in the show room. I am beyond disgusted with the whole scenario and eleven more dismayed with Chris Mooneys arrogant attitude, lack of knowledge as to what goes on in his show room, and most off his lack of empathy. I would NEVER reccomend this dealership to anyone. I would rather take my buisness to advantage Hyundai, although they are a lower volume dealer...I have a few friends that have gone there and left satisfied, I was a fool to think this dealership the same. This is my first and last purchase at this dealership. More
