Nick managed a very complicated purchase process over two days. He had no idea that we needed a car immediately, but extended effective and efficient service. I am happy with my car. Two things brought down the experience. First, the time it took to be finished. I was at the dealership between 4 1/2 to 5 hours. We came in with a letter stating that they would allow full manufacturer's price on a trade in of our 'highly sought after' 2002 Elantra for a new car. When we got there (after calling to confirm we were full manufacturer's price on a trade in of our 'highly sought after' 2002 Elantra for a new car. When we got there (after calling to confirm we were reading the letter correctly) we found that the misleading at best wording of the letter meant that they would take off an amount of money per mile for the car assuming 12,000 miles a year. All of the cars in the letter would have had their trade value come to zero if you used their calculation. If this was not intentionally misleading, it was a horrific sales tool. When we started talking about the letter the sales person got belligerent and condescending in tone. 'You really didn't expect to pay the same price we had been paying for our current vehicle' was one comment. When I went to their own calculation page on their website, the payment was shown to be lower even with the trade in they offered. The attitude of the staff after they determined they would not make a sale was unacceptable and I would never come back to this dealer. Also, they immediately took our keys to 'assess' our trade in but never asked where we parked the car. Maybe they have the ability to pick out one Hyundai in a parking lot filled with Hyundais or this was just another ploy to keep me as a customer in the showroom longer to negotiate a deal while they went to find our keys. Mike was very courteous and very helpful in explaining my options for leasing my new vehicle. I was disappointed with the financing department however.
