The atmosphere appeared to be one of 'organized confusion'. It took approximately 4 hours from apprival to departure while most of the time was spent waiting on seeing someone in the process. On our recent purchase of a 2012 Elantra at Atlantic Hyundai. our experience met our expectations. Salesman was friendly and thorough. The process seemed rather lengthy. This seems to be typical of Hyundai. our experience met our expectations. Salesman was friendly and thorough. The process seemed rather lengthy. This seems to be typical of this dealership having purchased a Honda from their sister dealership about a year ago. Their pricing was a little better than their competition probably attributing to their buying power. After researching a fair price they were average. Our only criticism was in the contract. It struck us as odd, that we were encouraged to accept immediate delivery before submission of our downpayment and having to sign a contingent contract. We had also made it clear that we wanted to have lic/reg fees included in downpayment but were instead added to the finance portion. We received copies of documentation 3 days after delivery of vehicle when we returned with agreed downpayment. The finance portion seemed rushed and vague. Thought we might get a better rate. One would wonder how much is determined by credit score tied with amount financed. Putting close to 50% down leaves a smaller amount of finance dollars for the company.These are relatively minor points but were worth noting. We would shop this dealer again because of their selection and competitive pricing. More
