107 Reviews of Audi Arlington - Service Center
I purchased my Audi Etron in Dec of 2022. Unfortunately when I purchased it, it had a nail in the rear tire. Since purchasing the vehicle I had it serviced at Audi of Arlington three times. E Unfortunately when I purchased it, it had a nail in the rear tire. Since purchasing the vehicle I had it serviced at Audi of Arlington three times. Every I've had to pay for a ride share to and from work due to them not having loaner vehicles available. Luckily I work less than 10 miles away so I never complained. On my most recent visit for service in November 2023, I received a call and email from the service center that included a video of them using a water mechanism with an email stating my rear tire had a slow leak, the tire pressure light was on and I needed a tire rotation. I immediately called the dealership and asked them how did the tire pressure light come on and was told by my rep that it was on when I brought the car in for service and she confirmed with the tech that it was on. I was furious and demanded that she check the dashboard pictures of when I dropped the car off that morning and low and behold she verified that I was correct and the light was not on when I dropped it off and the nail they were referring to had been in the tire for almost a year! I asked that a manger call me and I never received a call. When I picked up my car I noticed the service light was still on and mentioned it to the same service rep who advised me the car was still in sleep mode and it would eventually turn off. That was a lie as well! 2 days later the light was still on and I now have to take time out of my day to go back to the dealership on my lunch break or late after work during rush hour traffic to get the service light reset. This dealership is a joke and every since picking my car up my tire light has come on and I had to spend money to replace the tire $300 tire that was causing to problems until their service team messed with it! Fast forward to January 2024, I called the dealership because my emergency brake is not releasing properly after removing the charger and also slipping while driving in the rain. The service tech informed me it would be the middle of February (1 month) before they could get my car in and I would have to leave it for 2-3 days! 1 month for a braking issue....You can't be serious?? I decided not to make a big fuss but asked that I be provided with a loaner vehicle due to me living 35 miles away from the dealership and having to commute to work everyday. Can you believe they would not provide a loaner and told me I would have to sign up for a loaner when I dropped the car off? Hello? How am I supposed to make any plans for even a rental car if I don't know if a loaner would be available? At this point I'm pissed because I have NEVER asked for a loaner at any of my service visits and that is the least they could do after my last experience and inconvenience with my tire and service light not being reset. I asked to speak with a service manager who called me back 30 minutes later. I could tell from the time I said hello and the tone of his voice that he was angry and annoyed. I explained the situation and he could have cared less and told me they don't provide loaners. I asked him if my appointment could be rescheduled when one became available and in his nasty tone replied...it doesn't work like that, you just need to bring your car in and sign up on the list. What sense does that make and why can't you call me when one is available so me as the customer are not inconvenienced with paying out of pocket for a rental car. I paid over $65k for my car and the least the dealership could do is off a loaner if it's going to be there more than 24 hours for a brake issue that the service rep said was a known issue. Where is the CUSTOMER SERVICE? I would never recommend buying car or using Audi of Arlington for service. The service techs are nasty and why buy an expensive car from a dealership to only get treated like crap after? Please buy from a dealership that cares about it's customers after purchase and provides loaner or rental cars. More
Slow, horrible, customer service. Service department doesn’t communicate with its customers and have you wait a huge amount of time for a service that should have taken 1 hour tops. Contrary to the information on the website, they were out of loaner cars and did not offer any alternate means for transportation outside 5 miles. I was told there would be a 4 hour wait before they could ev of loaner cars and did not offer any alternate means for transportation outside 5 miles. I was told there would be a 4 hour wait before they could even start working on my car, but it was finished in an hour and a half. The service manager sent me a link to watch a "video" of my car, but the video was of a different car, not mine. Finally, I asked to check for a fluid leak and nobody mentioned at any time whether they found or even checked for the leak. More
Scheduled an appointment on their service site for the morning of November 28. Brought the car in at the scheduled time and there was one customer service representative in a line of a dozen people waitin morning of November 28. Brought the car in at the scheduled time and there was one customer service representative in a line of a dozen people waiting to have their cars processed. They held my car for 12 days without ever having a technician look at it and would never call me for an update. They only kept saying they're doing their best. Customer service on a scale of one to 10 is 1. I would call and ask for an update me be told somebody would call me right back.I was never called. They could never tell me when my car would be looked at. They had no loaners available. On December 11, I lost patience and had the car towed to another dealership's service department. This is part of a pattern of this dealership. I've seen over time they have only one or two customer service reps on duty and have not had loaners and a shortage of technicians to work on cars. I bought my car here and this experience is extremely disappointing and would recommend to anyone to avoid this dealership. More
Worst dealer maintenance experience—period. Dropped the car off for scheduled maintenance. Two days later they had not started. Service department never contacted me. Went this dealership to get "independent" inspection after buying a used Audi from another dealership. The service requested was - multi point inspection. This service usually takes an hour, max two. Bu after buying a used Audi from another dealership. The service requested was - multi point inspection. This service usually takes an hour, max two. But these guys took almost the whole day. End result, a one or two page report which I could have obtained on my own with a visual inspection. Did not look like a 5 hour effort. No information on engine, transmission, electronics! The service rep was disinterested and had no intent of explaining the results to end customer. They had a complimentary wash and vacuum included with the service, which they politely declined to perform. Then I asked to help me setup the "Audi connect" app, which they couldn't since the backend server was down. Rep claimed they were buried down the neck with work, and I could hardly see one or two customers in the waiting area. End of the day, what worked flawlessly, was their xxx payment system to charge me a sum of USD 300 of the services. I don't think they care about their customers, or care about providing a top quality service. I will be avoiding this place for my next tune or maintenance in the future. At least I know where "not to go". More
Unprofessional experience! Took my A3 in for a check engine light issue. Person who checked me in did not put in system to have light diagnosed because she "assumed" the soft Took my A3 in for a check engine light issue. Person who checked me in did not put in system to have light diagnosed because she "assumed" the software updates would fix the issue; however, she sold me on new tires, rotors, brakes, etc, which was fine (I needed them). Picked car up two weeks later thinking engine light was fixed but it was not (I should not have paid until I saw that engine light was fixed) and I was told that the person who checked me in was fired and had not inputted this into the maintenance system so it was never diagnosed by the mechanics. I left car there and three days later was told I needed to pay $195.00 (after already paying $2,850 or so) to diagnose the light; I asked the rep to have the service manager approve a free diagnostic. I should not have had to advocate for this. They diagnosed for free and stated it was an O2 sensor and quoted me $1,400 to fix, which included four hours of labor. THIS IS A 45 MINUTE JOB! I took re-possession of my vehicle, bought the sensor for $150.00 and replaced in 45 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT taking your vehicle here due to their unprofessional operations and price-gouging. Also, management never contacted me, no one seemed to care and they never offered anything to help me out. To be fair, I requested on two occasions for management to contact me about this but they did not (one time was through their review system E-mail that asked me if I wanted to be contacted based upon my experience). I also sent an E-mail to their "Care Team." No responses received. I have also contacted Audi Corporate USA. I would think that any company would want to talk with me to improve their processes, training, etc. I tried to help them but they ignored me. So, here is a Google review. I am also in the market for a new Audi and will not purchase from them and have told multiple people not to go to the for a new car. I truly hope Audi Arlington reviews this and fixes their processes for their own sake! More
Comments about Servicing you car at Audi Arlington I made an appointment to take my 2020 Audi A4 to Audi Arlington on 1 November 2023 because several MMI functions were not working properly (e.g., GPS s made an appointment to take my 2020 Audi A4 to Audi Arlington on 1 November 2023 because several MMI functions were not working properly (e.g., GPS showing incorrect location, system not allowing Bluetooth connectivity, etc.). I dropped off the car at the dealership on evening prior to the day of the appointment. I didn't hear from (Chris) Service representative during the day, and when I called at 4:30 PM to request an update he told me that the technicians were too busy to look at my car that day. He apologized and asked If I could leave the car at the dealership one more day, and I agreed to it. On the next day Chris called me and told me that Audi Arlington confirmed that there was an issue with the MMI, but they didn't know how to fix it. However, he mentioned that he was going to get back to me with an update soon. *** Unfortunately he has not contacted me as of 10 November 2023. On a separate note, when I picked up my car I was surprised to see that the car had not been washed (something that is a common practice on dealerships that sell luxury brands). I brought this situation to the Service Manager's attention and after apologizing, he offered to send a staff member to my house so he/she could pick up my car, get it washed, and then brought it washed back to me. I wasn't contacted by the Service Manager again. More
