Outside of the build/buy a new Audi process, Brian also demonstrated creative leadership and quick thinking that turned a minor crisis for me into a happy ending. I left the dealership late in the afternoon in my current Audi, a 2017 A3 convertible. Just a few miles from the dealership, traveling on I-85 North at 70 mph in the express lane, my Audi’s transmission suddenly, inexplicably, almost catastrophically, failed. I somehow managed to maneuver across five lanes of rush hour traffic to the shoulder. After arranging a tow back to Jim Ellis, I called the Audi Atlanta service department requesting an emergency loaner vehicle to continue my trip to north Georgia. Was told sorry, no cars, no way. I called Brian. Within 15 minutes, as the tow truck got to the scene, Brian called back to say that he had solved the problem. I would have a loaner on returning to the dealership. Now THAT is service. I’ve got history with Jim Ellis’ sales team. This new Audi A5 that I’ll be excited to get in June will be the 5th consecutive Audi from Jim Ellis Audi I’ve owned over the past almost 20 years.
