We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. Our system uses the Audi’s computer to log miles driven and fuel used. During this visit there was clearly an issue with our software and when the loaner agreement was closed out the automated system charged the client for fuel used. The client brought this issue to our attention and we immediately refunded the money collected and reached out to our software provider for a remedy to the issue. Similar to when getting a hotel room or renting a car, we collect a credit card for things like fuel usage or damage. When the car is returned the vehicle will tell us the mileage driven and the amount of fuel used. If a client refills the tank the vehicle will know, though in this case there was a malfunction and even though the client put fuel in the car it charged him. We truly apologize for this mistake and inconvenience it caused. It was a mistake we take full responsibility for and we have corrected this with our software provider. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience, have refunded all charges, and are ensuring the software glitch is remedied.
