Completely Ignored Quite possibly one of the worst service experiences of my adult life...I went into the dealership right before the holidays right after they opened ar Quite possibly one of the worst service experiences of my adult life...I went into the dealership right before the holidays right after they opened around 9:15am. I had just left the gym and was “dressed down” and thought I’d pop in to see what deal I could get on a 2018 Audi S7, as my lease on my 2015 BMW 650xi was up in March. After walking into the showroom I looked at vehicles for 20 minutes before a young lady(receptionist) finally approached me and asked if I needed anything. I told her that I’d like some information on the S7 and she gave me a bewildered look, which surprised me but I just ignored. She said that she’d get someone and they’d follow up with me. Now I took notice that there were 10-15 people milling around getting coffee and chatting in offices and I was the ONLY customer in the entire showroom, so I thought somebody would be interested in getting to me quickly but apparently they are doing an incredible amount of business because they completely ignored me. The receptionist turned around and went to one of the sales folks and pointed in my direction so I assumed she was telling him that I’d like to be helped. When she approached he was engaged in a conversation with a lady at his desk and gave me a quick glance and resumed his conversation. So I continued standing there for another 20 minutes with no one saying so much as boo to me. After feeling like I wasn’t wanted there and neither was my business I casually and slowly walked outside and got in my car and left. I don’t know what the problem is here but I strongly encourage you not to give them your business. I’m VERY careful about insinuating discrimination of any type, but I couldn’t help feeling like I was being assessed as less than by the response I received. I’m a 45 year old African American male Whi is educated and have done fairly well in life, and this was one of the few times in my adult life I felt like I wasn’t wanted. Disappointing to say the least because I really liked the car, but Audi will never get my business going forward. More
