Excellent Service, Long Wait Overall my experience at Audi Hoffman Estates was very good, and that is primarily due to Service Advisors like Rick Kelstrom that make the difference Overall my experience at Audi Hoffman Estates was very good, and that is primarily due to Service Advisors like Rick Kelstrom that make the difference. My vehicle was serviced for minor repairs (a/c recharge, oil sensor, sunroof switch) which took about 7 hours to complete. In the end, the service still wasn't completed after this amount of time because the sunroof switch was "special order." This required a trip back to the dealership the next week and was replaced in about 25 minutes. The recharge and oil sensor was only a couple hour job, so I'm not sure why I was there from 7am until 2pm. Given all that, Rick was certain to check on me frequently and even arranged a ride to a nearby restaurant. He is a true asset to Audi Hoffman Estates. Audi Westmont is about 20 minutes from my house, but I drive nearly an hour to Audi Hoffman Estates because people like Rick make up for the long waits. In this instance, I had to spend 4 hours driving back and forth. I had a similar experience with my last service here (excessive wait) and I'll still return, I'll just make sure there is a loaner available to use. More

Having had significant tire and rim damage recently, I was very concerned about potential risks of continuing to drive my car while waiting on a servi Having had significant tire and rim damage recently, I was very concerned about potential risks of continuing to drive my car while waiting on a service loaner. Realizing my concerns and appreciating the fact that I could not be without my car, Rick managed to locate a loaner car. He also managed to have the rim repaired instead of replacing it. Based on the way it looked, it would have been easy to "sell" me IBM a new rim. Fortunately, honesty and integrity are still alive and well at Audi Hoffman Estates. Kudos to Rick for the prompt and professional response. More
