Good for basics, clueless about tech We have a brand new Q5. We brought it in for the first oil change. It's covered by Audi, which is great. The service center was, well, fancy. We asked them to look at the nav update which was trying to install via Audi connect and was stalled at 50%. They said there was no update available. Which there was. I went home and installed it with an SD card. I feel like no one really understands the tech in this car. More

A sales representative answered a few questions I had as a new Audi owner, even though it was purchased used from a different car maker. Considering these services, the higher price for an oil change was worthwhile. More

Repair of Suspension My 2012 Audi A6, with only 55,000 miles, had cluncking noises coming from the left front suspension whenever I drove over a bump. The left upper cont My 2012 Audi A6, with only 55,000 miles, had cluncking noises coming from the left front suspension whenever I drove over a bump. The left upper control arms were replaced. I was without my vehicle for 6 days because Audi did not have the parts in the United States. This was fine as I got to drive the latest A6. A few days later I returned to Audi Hoffman Estates because my windshield fluid tank was leaking. A grommet was replaced. A week later I was back again as there was another, different, suspension noise on the left-hand side. This was diagnosed as a stone trapped near or by a mount. Removing this stone took a week, but again I was quite happy to have a new A6 as a loaner. My service consultant was Ted McConnell. He took good care of me and is pleasant to deal with. He took my car out several times to ensure that the noise from the stone had gone. My only (minor) wish is that he return phone calls more promptly, but overall I am very satisfied with him and will not seek out anyone else.. Naturally I am curious to know whether suspension failures are a known issue with 2012 A6s More
