Not the way to "Earn" someone's Business While my experience with Audi of Lakeland does not reflect the other positive reviews herein, I want to take a moment to share my experience. In summa While my experience with Audi of Lakeland does not reflect the other positive reviews herein, I want to take a moment to share my experience. In summary – we could not agree on a price and while it is normal courtesy at that point to thank each other and move on – I received a message that spawned this review. I began my day exchanging messages with Avymael (Avy) Velez Torres, a Brand Specialist. My exchanges on the whole was pleasant, direct, and timely. In my initial message to Avy, I clearly stated that I am price shopping after deciding that a Q7 would be a great fit – especially given the discounts on the 2019 models. Furthermore, I provided Avy with transparency on where I want to be on price. While we were not able to agree on a price – I am just baffled by the message I recently received – note below: “Mr Alvin, With all due respect, I am sure there are other manufactures out there that can beat us on price. Not sure if you have seen a Q7 in person and have driven one. But I can assure you our Q7 was the best luxury selling SUV of 2019 for a reason. Our cars are leaders in technology, safety, and performance and they are equipped with more standard features than a lot of vehicles on the market. With that being said, I gave you my best offer. If pricing is more important than getting the best car on the road then an Audi might not be the right car for you. I would love to earn your business and welcome you to the Audi Brand. Please let me know how I can assist going forward.” For me, sending such a message is NOT THE WAY TO EARN MY BUSINESS – rather it runs the risk to antagonize. I often wonder if people who use the statement of “earning business” actually understands what it means. A car is a commodity, pricing is driven by the market and dealers can choose to sell at a certain price or not. Avy is a customer facing individual and represents Audi and Audi of Lakeland. While I am not sure what Avy was trying to accomplish with the response – it has clearly soured me on Audi as a brand, Audi of Lakeland – and in general Qvale Auto Group. - Daniel Weissland, happy to provide any direct feedback. Aside from the tone of Avy’s message - let us also further evaluate the claims made – according to CARSALESBASE.COM – in the US, 2019 Q7 sales volumes are 34,649; Mercedes GLE 49,980; BMW X5 54,595; - for the fun of it – the Lexus RX is 111,036. In Europe, the BMW X5 sold 44,765 units coming in at #1, the Q7 16,127 in #9. I have driven the Q7 (both engine variants,) I have compared it against others that I have driven, including the Lincoln Aviator, Cadillac XT6, Mercedes GLE and GLS, BMW X5, Acura MDX, RDX. In my opinion, there is a line between ‘puffing’ and just being arrogant and rude. The combination of both is a recipe for disaster. While it is wonderful to see so many positive experiences with Audi of Lakeland, sadly – I am not one of those individuals who can say the same. More

From Vito our sales man, to Joe the parts manager who refereed me, everyone is very laid back and willing to accommodate you req inviting atmosphere.
