Disappointed customer My recent experience wasn't good at this dealership. I, among others, had the first appt. We all had to wait because the employees were late. In total I had to wait almost 30 minutes to talk to someone. I was there for a recall and specifically asked for a loaner car as I needed to travel for work that day. I was told all loaners were out. Instead, they expedited my service, but I had to wait an additional 50 minutes for that. I was disappointed in the customer service I received here. Audi is a premium brand and I expect more. More
Poor service Signed up for a service for 7:30 AM, ended up waiting for over an hour once I arrived for someone to take my car in. Once I was at the desk, was told that my Audi Care plan “expired”. I.e. there is a expiration mileage (in the verbiage of T&Cs, so read carefully, if you get talked into buying this) - 57k miles. My car showed 58k, so I was told that half of the $1,000 I paid for the Audi Care package was basically no good. To be fair, I was able to get one of the services it covered, but this next one (and the more pricey one) would not be covered - expired! Essentially half the money I paid for the Audi Care - “expired”. Figure that. I know I could have read the T&Cs better (but then again - purchase the package about 2 years ago, who’d remember the T&Cs?), but this really feels like I got scammed. Asked the manager to top off the oil (as low oil light came on), which he said they did. Two minutes into my drive home the light came right back on. AND the “low tire pressure light” came on (tires were totally fine before my unfortunate visit to this dealer). Terrible experience all around. Will never go back. More
Service Warranty My wife's Q5 had excess oil consumption. After multiple tests, Palo Alto Audi replaced the pistons in May 2018. In April 2019 the piston comes through My wife's Q5 had excess oil consumption. After multiple tests, Palo Alto Audi replaced the pistons in May 2018. In April 2019 the piston comes through the side of the engine block (less than 12 months and less than 12,000 miles). Palo Alto Audi tells me yesterday it will pay for 60% of the cost to replace the engine. Palo Alto Audi does not honor their own written warranties. Please consider our experience before ever doing any business with Palo Alto Aud. More
