Poor communication and disappointing level of service I came into Audi Palo Alto for a 50k service, they identified a repair (leaky cam shaft) that would "take 6 hours". Instead they held my car for an en I came into Audi Palo Alto for a 50k service, they identified a repair (leaky cam shaft) that would "take 6 hours". Instead they held my car for an entire week. The entire time I struggled to get the status of my car, calling in and trying to reach my service representative who was never there (and was extremely slow to get back to me, if he ever did). On a Thursday afternoon I was told the repair would be complete by the next morning, and when I came in Friday early evening, the repair still was not complete (but no one had bothered to call me). The slow execution and poor communication left me in limbo for the week. After some research I also learned the cost was much higher than a normal market rate. I'm not super high-maintenance or picky, but this was an extremely negative experience and I'll never go back. I had much better luck with Rector Audi of Burlingame (and will go back to them next time, despite being farther away. More

horrible customer service It took 3 days to complete 2 safety recalls that was promised to be completed in 1 day. They did not have one of the items to be replaced and claimed It took 3 days to complete 2 safety recalls that was promised to be completed in 1 day. They did not have one of the items to be replaced and claimed that the box was missing some necessary fastening bolts which had to be reordered. Obviously, the new catalytic converter was not reserved for my car's appointment and used on another car. I had to retrieve my car in one day and bring it back a week later. Enormously inconvenient!!! More

incredible service I live much closer to Burlingame Audi but I come down to Palo Alto because of John Su who has given me great service. Poor service I brought my car in because of a check engine light. I was charged $219 to “diagnose” and it was discovered that there was rodent damage. Sergio tol I brought my car in because of a check engine light. I was charged $219 to “diagnose” and it was discovered that there was rodent damage. Sergio told us it would be over $900 to replace a damaged wire. We called our non Audi service technician and he told us he could replace the wire for $90! We got the car from audi and brought it to our technician. Our technician discovered that a harness was also damaged. This damage had to be done by a PERSON not a rodent. The Audi technician ripped it out to gain access to the wire instead of carefully removing the bolt. Our technician then had to order a new harness from Audi. Our TOTAL cost out the door for all repairs and labor was $180. Not the $900 plus your dealership was going to charge. PLUS the diagnostic fee which is excessive and ridiculous to charge in ge first place. Very disappointed in Audi. More

S3 Service I brought my S3 in for service and some minor warranty work at Audi Palo Alto. As soon as I arrived, I was helped right away. John helped me check i I brought my S3 in for service and some minor warranty work at Audi Palo Alto. As soon as I arrived, I was helped right away. John helped me check in my car, put me into a new A4 service loaner and off I went. He kept me informed regularly on the progress of my car since some parts needed to be special ordered. Once the car was completed, John called me and I let him know I would be down to pick it up a while later. Once I arrived at the dealer, I found my car cleaned and parked right upfront and out of the rain. Nice touch. Btw, I liked the A4 so much, I went and got one for myself. Actually the S4, but pretty much the same car with a bit more power. I’ll be back to see John when my new car needs servicing. More
