Honest, hardworking, smooth operations. I am not the client that looks to nickel and dime partners I do business with, I just want to be treated fair and want someone to work for my business. When a dea client that looks to nickel and dime partners I do business with, I just want to be treated fair and want someone to work for my business. When a dealership gives me an impression that they expect me to settle, I am the first to say they will NOT get my business. This is NOT the case at Princeton VW and the Princeton auto family, Jacqueline made my experience one that I would recommend and drive one hour out of my way, as I personally did. I always do business face to face; this was the first time I closed a deal on the phone feeling 100% confident I was taken care of. This is the level you can expect at Princeton VW/Audi and a level you should be given when it comes to making a decision that you will pay for over the next three years. I get the impression many dealerships do not value the worth of a family dollar, not at Princeton VW. Thanks Jackie, here's to a long relationship with the Princeton family. More
I purchased a certified Audi A4 from Princeton Audi. We negotiated the entire transaction over the phone, the sales person Tom went over the car and answered all for the questions that I had. I was very c negotiated the entire transaction over the phone, the sales person Tom went over the car and answered all for the questions that I had. I was very comfortable doing the transaction over the phone because the car was certified and had a "300 point inspection." We arranged to have the car delivered by around 2pm. Unfortunately, the sales person was unable to bring me the car until night time, sighting paperwork delays. A week after completing the transaction we noticed that the rear passenger door was not shutting correctly so we brought it to our local Audi service station. Once there, the service rep pointed out other items that appeared faulty and also pointed out paint work and previous damage that was likely from an accident. We called up Princeton Audi and they immediately said they wanted to bring the car in for inspection and correction of any issues, stating they weren't aware of any accident. At that point they sent a loaner for me to drive until the car could be returned. I told the used car manager at that point that I wanted my money back or that I wanted them to write me a check for the difference in value between a perfect car and one that had been in an accident. I was put off until they could investigate the issue. Four days passed with little to no update other than that they confirmed there was at least one panel painted and that they still were unable to fix the trunk. I had not been offered any resolution at all, and was not offered my money back. I felt that an accident leading to paintwork and misaligned panels should have been noticed during their 300 point inspection and again asked how they plan to resolve this. I was told by the used car manager that he would have an answer for me by the next day. I called in the next day and was told that Alex, the used car manager who promised a resolution on that day, had the day off. Frustrating as that was, I wanted this to be over so I asked for the GM Dave D'Argenio. Mr. D'Argenio took my call and was almost immediately abusive. His tone was completely unprofessional and shocking. I called in that day to try to get the situation resolved, even ready to see if they had a different A4 or A6 to sell me, instead I was hollered at for 20 minutes by a guy who is supposed to be running the dealership. After berating me, Mr. D'Argenio finally conceded to unwind the transaction, but not before yelling that I'll need to make sure that the loaner they gave me "has the exact amount of gas it had when it was dropped off" and that I, in his words, "had won". I was told I would hear from the used car manager to work out the details the next day. That call never came. Only after I emailed the owner of the dealership did I finally hear from my original sales guy to try to work out the details of “unwinding the transaction” as they called it. This dealership is a disgrace; their certification process is a joke, and they are run by someone willing to yell at customers. I have lodged a complaint with AUDI USA, emailed the owner of the dealership (and have not heard from him), and will next be completing a complaint with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General Division of consumer affairs. It turns out that failure to disclose prior damage is consumer fraud, given that this damage was noticed immediately by another dealerships service rep, it seems clear it evident during their 300 point inspection too. While this dealership maintains a high ranking on dealerrater.com I wonder how that’s possible. I have uncovered that with certain (paid) membership levels, a dealership has the ability to work through any issues before negative feedback is posted. I am left to wonder if I will need to post this review elsewhere for it to ever see the light of day. While it is certainly possible that many transactions are handled professionally, I would caution any other buyers from purchasing a vehicle sight unseen from these guys. Their certification process is not to be relied upon; either their mechanics can’t spot any defects – or when they do, they are covered up. More
Brought my daughter's 2003 Audi A4 to Princeton Audi to get checked out before we purchased. Needed peace of mind knowing that our 17 year old could not afford expensive repairs. Received a "thumbs up to get checked out before we purchased. Needed peace of mind knowing that our 17 year old could not afford expensive repairs. Received a "thumbs up" from Audi. Two days after inspection we purchased the car. The day after that, the check engine light came on. Needed to replace both catalytic converters. Apparently the code was there the whole time, but they never bothered to see that that it was not in the "ready" position and was "reset" by the previous owner. Now 9 months later, we've put over $5000 into the car. What a piece of junk and what a waste of money to get inspected. Their excuse was that it was a "visual" inspection. I paid $130 for incompetence. They are unwilling to do anything - even contacted corporate to no avail. I've owned 5 BMWs, and my family has owned numerous Audis. Never have I had such a bad experience. When I'm ready for my next vehicle, I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. More
Working with Jackie was a pleasure. She was very businesslike but also showed a genuine interest in our search for the Passat we wanted. She found us the exact car we were looking for, and we could businesslike but also showed a genuine interest in our search for the Passat we wanted. She found us the exact car we were looking for, and we could not be happier with our purchase. Finalizing the deal went very smoothly, and Jackie did an excellent job of going over all the workings of the car before we drove it away. All in all, the whole experience left us with a very positive feel for the dealership as well as the people who are employed there. More
I loved working with Zak. He has such a great personality and was so honest in giving his opinion. The price I was given was great, and the service was even better. The last couple months I was wasting my time between Brooklyn used cars dealers and a few small dealers in NJ. Either those other dealers had false advertising about a car or price, or they couldn't get loan paperwork done. I became a believer, that car dealers are all full of scams. That was until last week, when I came to Princeton Audi. I couldn't believe an advertised price I saw for a 2007 BMW X5 published by Princeton Audi on Cars.com. It was too good. But I gave it a shot and contacted the dealership. They confirmed everything and approved me same day on line. When I drove to Princeton - I was expecting usual "last minute changes..." I was sooooo surprised, when I saw very nice and professional stuff - manager Alex, associate Chris, Chelsea and others. They showed me the car, which was much much better (!) than it even was in pictures. It was just too perfect, but true! Besides, they even could get me half point down on my loan, so I even saved over $500 unexpectedly. Alex - THANK YOU VERY MUCH for being professional and honest! Thank you Chris for the fast transaction. I was able to drive away in my beautiful car in less than an hour. I would extremely recommend Princeton Audi to any of my friends and would drive 40 miles to this place from Brooklyn when I need second car. More
I was in the area and happened to drive by the dealership. Since I was in the market for a new car and considering an Audi I figured i would look around. They had every model on display. Chris a dealership. Since I was in the market for a new car and considering an Audi I figured i would look around. They had every model on display. Chris answered all of my question and is really an expert when it comes to Audis. I ended up buying a car and it was a very pleasant negotiation and buying experience. When I returned to pick up the car, Chris did an outstanding job explaining everything to me. This was my first purchase from Princeton Audi and I am very impressed with the high level of service and professionalism. More
If you are in the market for a new car I would highly recommend you call and schedule an appointment with Jackie Savastano at VW Princeton! We were looking for a small car, considering Toyota Corolla, M recommend you call and schedule an appointment with Jackie Savastano at VW Princeton! We were looking for a small car, considering Toyota Corolla, Madza 3, Subaru and Nissan. Thank goodness we decided to take a quick look at the VW Golf before making a final decision. Once we saw the car and meet Jackie we were sold in less than 10 minutes. Jackie know the facts about the cars she sells and gives it to you straight. I recall my husband saying "Look at you!" after she rattled off all the engine/performance details. When we took the car out for a test drive we knew it was the car for us. So nice to get a hatchback without paying extra compared to similar sized sedans. I also have to mention I think their showroom should win a design award. It is simply done, with lots of glass and white walls and furniture, great job to whom ever designed this lovely showroom. Also the gentleman at the Audi dealer who handled all the paper work for us was very pleasant to work with and extremely efficient! So if you want a great car buying experience, give Jackie a call. I am sure you will be grateful you did. I also have to give a big thanks for the manager of VW Princeton. As my husband and I jokingly asked him to wash our other car after seeing how nicely they detailed our new Golf, he surprised us and asked for our keys and had it washed for us! So take my advise and visit VW Princeton, it is a great place and Jackie is an wonderful salesperson! More
