In the past 6 months, I researched several replacement cars for my SAAB 9.3 (a 5 door/ hatchback) and decided that the Audi A7 was the model best suited for my life here in northern New England. Intermittent Internet searches identified a small number of low-mileage used A7s with the options desired for handling and comfort as well as those required for snowy and frigid winter driving. I called a few of the dealers in possession of such vehicles, obtained further model information but none of the models satisfied my requirements; Until I found the 2012 A7 at Audi Reading. While the vehicle at Audi Reading was all that I wanted, to wit: low mileage, winter package, no navigation, the timing of the purchase was not great for me-as we had just suffered a loss in our immediate family and I was in the middle of organizing and expediting the decedent's estate. However, I found a few hours, called for an appointment and wound my way through beautiful farming country into Leesport, PA and Audi Reading. Jeff Rorhbach an Audi Brand Specialist greeted me upon arrival, we took a pleasant and informative test drive and I then decided to pursue purchase of the A7. There were many options involved in the fluid negotiations involving the possible trade-in of a remotely-located vehicle, financing, timing of the sale and delivery or the vehicle. I was exhausted after several full days of traveling, packing and directing movers. Jeff was direct, informative and clearly committed to making a sale to our mutual advantages. He was positive and pulled together the necessary pieces to put me in the car. In a short period of time, we arrived at an understanding and, despite some technical/computer/financing glitches that were no fault of the dealership, Jeff had the car delivered to me within 24 hours of our first meeting. His pleasant manner and sales support are what made the negotiation successful and the sale possible. More
