Made appt on line with my normal SR. Was called and told "i shouldn't have been able to do that" as my SR was on vacation. Reassigned a new SR and service date, since there were no loaners available either. I arrived on time at 0730. Needed oil change, 20K mile service, and asked for tire rotation. Manny was very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. He added a software update. Was thrilled to hear you reinstated car detailing, but since it was raining, not an option. I picked up the loaner, and said no rush, I'd pick up the next day or in the late afternoon. I am a cardiologist who travels between 2 hospitals so the shuttle doesn't work for me. Manny called to say there was still one service pending due to busy service bays, and he'd call me when it was ready on day 2. Late on that day, Manny told me that it still wasn't ready but would be by noon on day 3. On that day, he called to say that the tires could not be rotated as they had critically low tread. I approved the purchase of 4 new tires that were in stock. I wasn't sure why he seemed to try to talk me out of it and reschedule within 10 days (which I couldn't do) until later. He estimated (around 10AM) that it wouldn't be done until 1. I showed up at 2:30, and since Manny was busy, another SR checked me out. Although I asked, he forgot to add a 10% military discount. It took quite a while to bring out my car, and no one seemed to quite know where it was. Evidently it went from the tire bay to the wash. While I was waiting Manny came out to apologize, and said he noticed the bill error and would correct it (he did). Before I got home (10 miles), the low pressure tire alarm went off. Since I couldn't return, we checked and it seems that the MMI tire pressure record just needed to be set. Manny is a great SR, but the rest of the team is either understaffed or overworked. Or both. Very disappointed. More
