Took way too long - no communication The service took 3 times as long as they said in the beginning - almost 2 weeks for a basic service and windshield replacement. We got a text that it The service took 3 times as long as they said in the beginning - almost 2 weeks for a basic service and windshield replacement. We got a text that it was done and when we go there the service was done but not the windshield. Then they just went quiet for about a week. It wasn't until we called back that they said they would get to the windshield the next day. This is not about any individual person, it's about the internal communication and process not working that impacted us. Manny did what he could. More

He wrote up my work order to include the oil change and recall notice I had come in about, and recommended some other items that this mechanically challenged senior would not have thought of. He gave me an approximate time when the work would be finished and when I returned I was pleased to find out that my car was ready as promised. My one complaint - before purchasing my Audi I did a lot of research on luxury autos. The Audi was universally praised as a leader in the class so I was disappointed with the appearance of discoloration on my car's bright window frame moldings that I was told at my service visit were not covered under warranty. More

Problem not fixed I took my car in for what I was told would be a 4 hour service. After six hours I had to call to follow up. Turned out the person servicing the car ha I took my car in for what I was told would be a 4 hour service. After six hours I had to call to follow up. Turned out the person servicing the car had to leave for an emergency understandable. The next day I received a call to tell me my car was ready around 230pm. I arrived around 330 and had to wait over an hour for the car. On top of that the next day while driving the car the same sound I was hearing, was once again noted. All good - service personal are great. Having the service performed was very smooth and the personnel are great. My only issue with switching from Audi Escondido is getting a loaner car. Note that I haven't had an issue, but loaners aren't guaranteed at Audi San Diego. They are provided on a first come basis, which can be a little unnerving. Also, they aren't handled by the service advisor, which results in waiting in a second queue. More
