They quoted me $1,250 for a new CJB because it was completely corroded. Decided to do the work myself and upon taking it apart, it looked brand new (pics to prove it). Ordered a refurbished one for $1 More

Jay, thank you for your feedback. We have tried reaching out to try and resolve your issue but have been unsuccessful and without any of your information we cannot track down who you are. There is no doubt that buying a refurbished oem/aftermarket part would be potentially cheaper than a factory OEM, however I doubt it comes with the full warranty that a new OEM part would. Clearly doing the work yourself would also save on labor costs making the job much cheaper. Again, we warranty everything we touch so should you have an issue again with the part you would be fully covered through us vs. having to trouble shoot and spend more money yourself. You mentioned the part we said you should replace looked brand new like you were questioning our diagnosis, but replaced the part with a refurbished one anyway? I just want to make sure I'm understanding your comment so I can assist. Regardless, any time a customer comes to our Service Center we are more than happy to discuss the charges, scope of the work, parts, etc. especially if our customers think there is an issue. Please reach out to us in person in the future so we can help you at the time vs. on a review site where it is much more difficult to assist. We are usually pretty successful at making our customers happy and this seemed like an easy conversation and fix.
