We ordered a new truck from Brandon Dodge On Broadway and over all, we had a very positive experience. This dealership has been under new ownership since fall of 2010 and they really do seem to be about pleasing the customer. All promises were kept with no surprises. We are glad we did our business with them and wouldn't hesitate to go back in the future. Will be going back to them for all service issues in the future and we will rate that end of their business later on. Ken & Michelle McCandless More
My 1995 Toyota Camry was falling apart, so I went car shopping on Saturday. I went by myself (I'm a young, single woman, and I don't know anyone who knows anything about cars). I told my salesperson, R shopping on Saturday. I went by myself (I'm a young, single woman, and I don't know anyone who knows anything about cars). I told my salesperson, Roger, and the used car sales manager (I don’t know his name, but he had light green eyes and Roger would know his name) that I had two requirements for my car purchase: (1) I needed something inexpensive, and (2) I needed something that would last me through grad school (at least two years; I'm starting my MBA at DU in the fall). I really wanted a Honda, Nissan, or Toyota, because I know they have a good track record, but Roger and the used car sales manager talked me into looking at a 2005 Jeep Liberty with 127,000 miles, with the promise that they would sell it to me for $5000 plus my Camry, which included taxes. The used car sales manager also said that it would come with a warranty. I told them I had to think about it and went home to look up the Blue Book. The Blue Book said that the vehicle was worth $9500, so I was thrilled at the great deal they had offered me and returned to Brandon Dodge. When I got back to Brandon Dodge, Roger took me on a test drive. I told him that I wondered why the previous owner had gotten rid of such a great car, and he said that since the car was a business car, once it hit 120,000 miles the owner could sell it and get a tax break. When we returned to Roger's desk, he got me settled and then got called away to talk to a customer. A different sales manager than the one I had met earlier came up and said that since Roger was busy with the customer, he would be working with me for a while. He presented me with a piece of paper saying that the price of the car was $5999 (I can't remember the exact number, but it was within $5 of $6000). I told him that the other sales manager had promised me a price of $5000. He said that the extra $1000 was for the fees and taxes. I told him that I would buy the car for $5500, plus a new windshield (the car needed a new windshield), even though the original price I had been quoted was $5000 (which was to include taxes and a warranty). I also asked him about a warranty, and he said that the car would be sold "as-is." I said that I didn't want to get the car off the lot and take it to my mechanic and find out that something was terribly wrong with it, and the sales manager said "We aren't that kind of dealership." After I signed the paperwork, Roger returned. I said that I was amazed that I had gotten such a great deal. Roger said that he had explained my situation (I was a student and didn't have much money) to the sales manager and that the sales manager had a "soft spot," so he had given me a big discount. Roger also told me that the sticker price on the car had been $11,800! Unfortunately, after an hour of waiting for my windshield to be replaced in Brandon Dodge's waiting room, Roger came to tell me that the shop at the dealership was already closed, and didn't open again until Monday. I had to drive my old car home. I was supposed to pick up the Jeep on Monday, but Roger told me that the part wasn't in yet, so I had to pick it up on Tuesday. Tuesday was Roger's day off, but he told me that I "had a friend in the car business" and he would come in so that I could pick up my Jeep. On Tuesday, I picked up my Jeep and signed my Camry over to Brandon Dodge. I drove the Jeep home. I went upstairs to tell my grandma (who I live with) that I had my new car. When I went back downstairs to show it off and give her a test ride, the car wouldn't start. I tried several times and it still wouldn't start. I had the maintenance guy in our building bring out the car jumper and he tried to jump the car. Unfortunately, we discovered that the problem was not the battery. I called Roger and left him a voicemail, but he never called back. Then I called Brandon Dodge and talked to a sales manager named Jeff Miller. Jeff said he would call me back. An hour and a half later, I still hadn't heard from Jeff, and I went outside to try to start my Jeep again. Miraculously, it started, and I drove it directly to my trusted (AAA and BBB approved) auto shop. Once it got to the shop, it wouldn't start again. They looked at it, discovered that the problem wasn't the battery or alternator, and told me that they would need to keep it overnight. The owner of the shop called Brandon Dodge himself. He spoke to the repair shop first and asked if they had replaced the fuel pump. They said that they had replaced it, but they had taken it to a Mitsubishi dealership to have the fuel pump replaced (why they wouldn't just replace it in their own auto shop is beyond me). The owner of the shop then asked to speak to Jeff Miller, but Jeff wouldn't talk to him and said that he would call me. Jeff Miller never called me back (and I never heard from Roger again). A sales manager named Ron Hood called me and left a voicemail saying that the car was sold "as-is" and that since there was no implied warranty they "cannot honor any repair". He said I could call him on Thursday if I would like and left his phone number. My Jeep is currently at the shop, and they have discovered that it not only needs its fuel pump replaced but also needs its fuel line and tires replaced. I cannot believe that Brandon Dodge would sell me a car that needed $1400 in repairs when I told them that I was a very poor student who knew nothing about cars and needed something functional and inexpensive. They sold me a car that ended up not working and putting me into even more debt. More
They keep trying to sell us many vehicles that they hadn't inspected. We drove 50 miles to look at what they had twice because they said they had sent them in for inspection. We thought we found one th hadn't inspected. We drove 50 miles to look at what they had twice because they said they had sent them in for inspection. We thought we found one that they said they inspected, got 5 miles and check engine light came on. They were willing to try and fix it, but we weren't willing to drive 50 miles again. Over all not happy with their used car choices. Had to sit for more a hour and a half to talk to finance. More
I came in to Dodge around 8:00pm looking for a truck; it was my last stop for the night before making a decision. When I asked to test drive the new 2011 Ram truck, I was told they would need to get some in was my last stop for the night before making a decision. When I asked to test drive the new 2011 Ram truck, I was told they would need to get some information from me, I figured it was a copy of my licensee, etc in order to drive the vehicle. Next thing I know, I am answering questions about what I can afford, what kind of payment, etc etc. They also made it a point to mention that "At Brandon Dodge, we don’t bring any surprises to the table, so your vehicle registration for the first year, taxes and all fees are included in the price", come to find out, after I purchased my new vehicle, they did not register it, so I had to pay an additional 800 out of pocket. But back to the story.. I finally got to drive one and I liked the vehicle. They were pumped to try to pressure me into it. I told them I wanted the same vehicle but in a different color (The one I was testing was white; I wanted anything but white or black). Once I asked that, they gave me an attitude as if I was inconveniencing them to go into their computer system and help me find the vehicle I want. Anyhow, they found it and then I signed for the vehicle and started the paper work process. When they brought the truck to me the gas was Empty, Frank had said because it was so late (10:00pm by now), their fueling guy was not there anymore and the machines were locked down. He told me that when I came back in next week to get my addons that I bought, I could just bring it in Empty and he would fill it up. The next week, I brought the truck back to get add ons. When I arrived, Frank asked me how I was enjoying my vehicle. I explained to him that I was disappointed, I didn’t realize some of the small insignificant features the vehicle was missing and I wish I would have at the time of purchase. He took it offensively, like I was trying to get free add ons from him or something.. He automatically took an attitude with me. I got defensive and I told him that I just spent 40,000.00 on a truck from this establishment and I should be treated like a customer not a burden. While I was sitting in his office signing paper work for the "temp car" they were going to let me use while mine was in the shop getting the add ons that I PAID for, I mentioned that the vehicle was empty like he requested so he could fill it up. He played dumb at first and couldn’t remember saying anything about filling it up. After I explained to him that when bought the vehicle, the pumps were off so I couldn’t get fuel, he started to vaguely remember.. He then says "No problem, I can throw 20 bucks into it for you".. I said "You committed to filling the tank up", which he denied. I got mad and said I wanted to see the manager. He left the room for a few moments, then came back and said he will make sure it was filled up. I paid for 4 add ons to my vehicle, a WIFI Uconnect Blue Tooth, Back Seat Modification, Tow Hitch Package w/ Wiring and Rhino Bed Lining Spray. Once I arrived I had questions about my add ons to the service reps. First the WIFI Uconnect Blue Tooth. I asked the rep how the WIFI portion worked and what kind of literature came with it so I can read up on it. The rep explained that it really isn’t WIFI at all, and in fact he couldn’t understand why they even have WIFI in the description, it is just a plain blue tooth. So now I just bought a 500 dollar blue tooth that, by the way, doesn’t work worth a xxxx. 90% of the people say I sound like I am across a room and that I constantly break up. I then asked the service tech a question about the Rhino Bed Lining Spray, he didn’t know the answer, but explained that a rep from the company that would do the spray would be picking my vehicle up in a few moments and could answer anything I needed. So I waited. There were two priced packages for the rhino spray. One package included the bed and sides, the other just included the bed. I requested the higher priced of the two options because I wanted my sides protected too. I noticed after the fact that my sides already came protected with a hardened plastic that dodge puts on tucks standard. So when I told the Rhino spray rep that I needed to modify this to adjust the price, he explained it was all the same price, the side lip they protect doesn’t cost any more or less to get it or not get it. So, now I felt ripped off. Here Dodge is, charging two different prices for a service that costs them the same either way, making profit off both. Anyways, I left in a small old sea bring that was just terrible, but that didn’t bother me really. I mean come on; I only dropped 40K on a vehicle, why should they treat me well. I have the loaner vehicle for the day. They call me towards the end of the day to tell me that the parts did not show up and they were going to have to keep my truck longer, I of course was a little upset, to which the manager replied, "it is what it is". Moving along about 35 days later, I go to pick up my plates and tags. I am then prompted with a 800 dollar bill to register my vehicle.. Even though I was told that at Brandon Dodge, we don’t like surprises... Bottom line, I spent 40,000 dollars to buy this truck and from step one I was treated like xxxx. I think Dodge is a great company, but this dealership cost them my business for every future buy I ever do from here on out. I have bought lunch at McDonalds for 7.50 and have received 10x better customer service. More
I have been buying trucks from Hal since 1996. The reason I went to Brandon was because they had the good sense to employ Hal. This is my 9th truck/car from Hal . After getting to the dealership I could see I went to Brandon was because they had the good sense to employ Hal. This is my 9th truck/car from Hal . After getting to the dealership I could see why Hal would work there. The Staff was friendly and non pressuring, which is very important to me. They also didn't give me the feeling that they wanted to squeeze the last penny from the deal. Hal was a no brainer , always great service. The rest of the staff was a very pleasent surprise . They were professional and accomidating. Over all another great deal form Hal Turley. 9/9 More

The new ownership certainly has proved to me that a dealer can be different. Better! I've bought many cars and this purchase ranks in the top three for sure. When you feel what your being told is real dealer can be different. Better! I've bought many cars and this purchase ranks in the top three for sure. When you feel what your being told is real and honest, that makes the difference. It did for me. I can't remeber the sales person, but everyone was great. Check them out. I know that I'll be back.
