My sales guy Mike was excellent and he and the finance officer had me through the whole process very quickly. Went in at opening at 9am and left with a new Bronco completely ready to go at 2pm. More
I bought a 2022 Ford F-350 from AutoNation Ford Katy, and it was a total nightmare from start to finish. This was a $70,000 cash deal — no financing, no trade-in — and it still took them almost a week to complete because of pure disorganization and terrible communication. My salesman, Michael, was completely unprofessional. I had to call him multiple times a day just to get basic answers, and every time he acted like he didn’t know who I was or what truck I was buying. He couldn’t provide pricing within the same day and constantly dropped the ball. His manager, Oscar, wasn’t any better. No urgency, no follow-through, no accountability. The attitude from both of them was basically, “We’ve got plenty of customers — take it or leave it.” Because I’m an out-of-state buyer (Ohio), every other dealer I’ve worked with has simply overnighted the paperwork. Not here — they made me drive over an hour each way to another AutoNation location just to sign forms in person. Completely unnecessary. After wiring the full payment, I was told they’d handle taxes and title — but then they told me I have to do my own title work and front $4,000 in taxes to my local DMV before they’ll “reimburse” me. So after wiring them $70K, I still had to come up with another $4K out of pocket just to title my own truck. When it finally arrived, it had undisclosed body damage — the driver-side bedside is split at the bottom, and a certified shop estimated repairs at over $6,000. None of this was disclosed or visible in their listing photos. Since reporting it, both Michael and Oscar have completely ignored me. This dealership clearly does not care once they have your money. The lack of honesty, professionalism, and customer service is unbelievable — especially from a dealer carrying the Ford name. I would never buy from AutoNation Ford Katy again and strongly advise others to stay far away. More
Brought F150 in for oil change; service rep noticed my battery life was low. Glad he caught it since I’m driving north soon to cold weather. Don’t need to be stuck & freezing with a dead battery! Service was fast and I was rolling in just over an hour. More
