I cannot recommend AutoNation Ford Katy based on my experience. My new Bronco Raptor has had a roof leak that allows water into the cabin. The dealership kept my vehicle for approximately six weeks, re experience. My new Bronco Raptor has had a roof leak that allows water into the cabin. The dealership kept my vehicle for approximately six weeks, replaced the header seal, and returned it to me stating the repair was complete. The very first time it rained after I got it back, the roof leaked again. I want to be clear that I genuinely love my Bronco Raptor. My issue is not with the vehicle itself—it’s with the dealership’s inability to properly diagnose, communicate, and resolve the problem. Throughout this process, I experienced poor communication, a lack of urgency, and little confidence that my concerns were being taken seriously. I documented the leaks with photos and videos and repeatedly gave the dealership opportunities to resolve the issue. What concerned me even more was my communication with Ford Customer Care. The representative explained what Ford’s normal process is when a Field Service Engineer or roof specialist is needed: the dealership should document the concern, keep the vehicle on site, and coordinate the inspection. During our conversation, he told me he had relayed those expectations to the dealership, but also stated, “I don’t know why they’re doing it that way,” and later expressed that he didn’t think the dealership was going to call me with an update. Those statements, coming from Ford Customer Care after speaking directly with the dealership, significantly undermined my confidence that my case was being handled according to Ford’s normal process. Despite that conversation, the dealership continued to handle my case differently, which only delayed getting the issue properly addressed and further eroded my confidence in the service department. I sincerely hope Ford ultimately resolves this issue, but after everything I’ve experienced, I no longer have confidence in AutoNation Ford Katy’s ability to manage this repair.
