I had my oil changed at AutoNation Ford Mobile on 8/30, which was supposed to include a full multi-point inspection. About an hour later, I got a call that my vehicle was ready. I returned a few hours later, paid, received my receipt, and left. That same evening, I noticed a cover hanging under the right side of my engine. I brought my car back on 9/2, and they told me the issue wasn’t related to the oil change but patched it up for me. I also asked about the multi-point inspection report I never received. They gave me a black-and-white printout, but these reports are normally in color to clearly show what passed and what needs attention. This left me questioning whether a full inspection was ever performed. Overall, my experience was just okay. I expected more thoroughness and transparency, especially when a multi-point inspection is part of the service. More
Very disappointing experience. 3 things I'm upset about: 1) I was not made aware that, even though I made a down payment and was approved for a loan from my lender, I would not 3 things I'm upset about: 1) I was not made aware that, even though I made a down payment and was approved for a loan from my lender, I would not be able to drive the truck home until the lender sent the check to the dealer. I was told that I was clear to come pick the truck up, took another driver with me, and did not discover this policy until we arrived. In effect, I was paying insurance on a car I didn't have...and wasted a trip to the dealership (I live over an hour away). Then, the finance guru at AutoNation entered an incorrect amount into their paperwork, delaying things even further. I have never experienced this...I have walked into dealerships in the past, looked at vehicles, made a choice, obtained a loan, and drove home with the new vehicle all in the SAME DAY. 2) It wasn't until I got home that I noticed that the detailing was woefully inadequate. There were certain spots (behind the visors, under the emergency brake handle, etc.) that were not touched. Above the dashboard was the worst I've ever seen...almost a full roll of paper towels and a lot of Armorall later, and I'm still wiping dirt off of it. 3) Most disappointingly, again when I got home with the truck I noticed rust spots on the body under each of the front doors. I called AutoNation, sent pictures, and waited to see if they would fix the rust. I got the runaround for about 3 weeks until I received the message, in effect, that it's my problem now. One positive item: Mr. Liggett arranged for a spray-on bedliner for me since the condition of the truck bed was atrocious. Of course, I had to pay for it, but I appreciate him taking the time to do that. Still, I can't help but feel that I was taken advantage of by AutoNation, and I won't be going back for any future purchases. More

I scheduled the service for 1015am on a Monday and they had my truck ready for pickup in about 3 hours. Great service Dept. But when I arrived, he switched the terms and tried to hustle me for an additional $1,700 with a bogus story about how “the computer made a mistake.” I complained to the managers on duty, but they were in on the crooked play. Needless to say, I walked! Very dishonest and crooked. Beware! More
