Auto Nation in Canton Ohio is a great dealership. I’ve had a number of Fords over the past 10 years that Auto Nation has really done a good job. One of the things I’ve liked the most has been either I’ve had a number of Fords over the past 10 years that Auto Nation has really done a good job. One of the things I’ve liked the most has been either they’ll come and pick me up to get my car back. And they give you a ride home when it looks like they’re going to have to keep car for several days. The only problem I encounter is with the dealership but with Ford itself which irritates me because they won’t let the warranty pay for my water log passenger side tail light . They say that because it had a seal broken it wouldn’t be covered. Well I haven’t been able to find a leak in that seal. It’s real easy to take it off to replace it. But they want to charge over $900 for a friggin tail light which I find is totally absurd. This is on a 2018 vehicle parentheses explorer parentheses that leased And then two years later purchased the car with the platinum warranty. And I feel forward is treating me and other people poorly when this is obviously a problem. It takes all of five minutes to remove that rear tail light. And all you have to do is put a new bulb in and put a small hole in the lens to ensure moisture is drained out. The lens can then be covered with us very small piece of tape to prevent more water from coming in. I could not find a problem with the seal which they said they couldn’t take care of . Why they have to charge $900 for the service is totally beyond me. I would’ve gladly paid maybe $100 to have it repaired. But what I will probably do is go to a junkyard and get a used taillight and put it on myself. Now I am very concerned that if I buy another Ford I will not buy a platinum warrant.y. The broken tail.light seal is not a reason for not changing the burn out lightbulb and to install another lightbulb. There’s absolutely no reason for changing out the entire tail light and charging over $900 for something that takes just a couple minutes to fix. But they would not do that because they just don’t want to do that so they can make a pile of money for something that would take maybe 5 to 10 minutes at the most to fix. The service representative named Lindsay was absolutely great. They put her in a difficult situation you have to tell me that it was gonna cost over $900 to fix the problem. She was extremely understanding of the situation and did her best to tell me about it the Ford warranty. So all I can say is bravo to Lindsay and I think overall the dealership is great. The Ford warranty company though is totally unsatisfactory as far as I’m concerned. More
