AutoNation Ford Torrance

I had appointment for 9am and was checked in at 8:50am. After waiting in the dealership’s lounge until 1pm I inquired on when my vehicle would be done. I was told that it had been pulled in the stall and w After waiting in the dealership’s lounge until 1pm I inquired on when my vehicle would be done. I was told that it had been pulled in the stall and would be a 1hr to a 1 1/2 hour to be completed. I inquired about why it was taking so long and was told I had marked “dropping off” on the online appointment and not “waiting”. I was told that marking dropping off only insures my vehicle will be done sometime that day and not in any order. I tried looking on the autonations site for any explanation to dropping off or waiting at the dealership for service and could not find anything. There also isn’t a explanation in the waiting area so a customer would know there is a difference. So my experience at the dealership was, I walked around looking at various vehicles for a hour or so in the morning and waiting for almost 4 hours in the waiting room for a oil change and tire rotation on my vehicle. My vehicle was finally handed back to me at 2pm after they had finished the service and washed my vehicle. Since the explanation did not seem right I do wonder if the dealership just puts cash paying customers (I have prepaid for services when I leased my vehicle) ahead of those who have prepaid???? More
