I was 15 minutes away, coming from Sandy Springs, from the dealership when I received a call from Larry stating that I would need the cosigner to be present in order to make the purchase. This wouldn't have been a problem if I knew previously and if this dealership knew how to conduct business virtually like the rest of the world. This was totally inconvenient and I almost didn't get my car because of it. That was another ordeal because she was far from the dealership and couldn't just stop everything she was doing. While Larry and I were trying to figure out the process I ask him what is the problem why is everything not together? He simply replied that he messed up. At this time I ask to speak to his manager. Jamel Mitchum comes over and introduces himself and just starts explaining why the cosigner needed to be there and he started going over policies. Now he never once greeted me and I had to stop him three times because he kept trying to make it seem as if this was my fault. I had to tell him I understood everything he was saying, but you guys are the ones that didn't communicate anything to me. Jamel and Larry go to figure something out and told me that we could move on with the process. I finished signing my papers with Larry. Jamel came back over and had me sign a form and stated that he would have to run the credit check again and see what the bank says. I was under the impression that the deal was already made and my credit had already been ran (which I received several emails showing where my credit had already been ran during our virtual appointment prior to coming in ) and I was told everything was approved. At this point, ALL of the joy from buying a car has been taken away from me. I thought I was picking up my car signing the last papers and leaving off the lot. This turned out not to be the case. I went into Jamel's office where he tried to sell me on things that he didn't even know about. I was amazed at how he did this. I already told him I didn't want to add anything on the car and of course he proceeded to still sell me on things. He got to a deal where I could get my car serviced at any Auto Nation. I asked him where were they located and he, of course, kept talking fast and told me there was one by my house. I told him no I didn't think there was. A salesman just so happened to walk by and Jamel asked him if there was one by Sandy Springs and the salesman automatically said no there isn't. Jamel didn't say anything, he stared at the salesman and then looked back at his computer. I would assume that if you want business that you would treat the consumer as if you wanted their business. I didn't appreciate any of my interaction on site. It was a horrible experience and I now know the so-called myth of women shouldn't go to the dealership alone is definitely the truth. I know for certain if I was a man they would not have dared talked to me or treated me the way they did. It was my mistake not bringing my Dad or Fiancé with me. I actually had 2 more people needing a car and they were waiting to see how my process would go and I have told them not to spend their money here because they will treat you like you are doing them a favor. I have bought two cars from here and NEVER will I again. Larry did customize a purple bow for my new car. I bought the second largest purchase a person makes in their life and they made me feel like I was in the dollar store returning used items. More

I went for a recall repair; a salesman who was speaking with my appointed technician, was very rude to me. No smiles, no welcome, no hospitality for a buyer spending 2 hours in a room waiting on a softwar with my appointed technician, was very rude to me.
