A pleasure to deal with.We were in the market for a new A pleasure to deal with. We were in the market for a new Kona. Looked on Cars.com and on a Sunday evening we found the car we were interested in at A pleasure to deal with. We were in the market for a new Kona. Looked on Cars.com and on a Sunday evening we found the car we were interested in at AutoNation Hyundai O'Hare. We "reserved" the car using their reservation process. The next morning I got a call from the dealership asking if we wanted to see the car. One of the very frustrating things I have learned is that some car dealerships advertise internet prices that are very attractive but when you call they will not commit to the price or when you get there you learn that there are thousands of dollars of so-called "dealer add-on's" that are not included in the price. So when I spoke with the sales person who called me I let him know I was interested in that car but did not want to play games with all kinds of bait and switch add-on games. He assured me that that is not how this dealership works but said he would confirm that the car that was listed did not have any additional add-on he was not aware of (since sometimes AutoNation adds tinting to the windows on their vehicles). He called me back in 15 minutes and confirmed there were no additional add-ons and that was the price. A few hours later I went up to the dealership, test drove the car, finished all the paperwork and was out in about one hour. During the signing they did ask if I was interested in an extended warranty, etc and had the options available for me to review if I wanted to see them. Given how good the warranty is from Hyundai I was not interested and there was no pressure from the dealership. Given how the internet has changed car buying it was a pleasure to deal with the folks at AutoNation who understand that old-school car dealership tactics just don't work any more. They had the car I wanted at a very competitive price and they did not try to play any games throughout the entire process. It is too bad for the car buyer (but good for AutoNation) that so many other dealership just haven't caught on yet and appear to make it a priority to scam their customers. I would definitely work with AutoNation Hyundai O'Hare again if I was in the market for another car. As an aside, I believe that most AutoNation dealerships operate in the same straight-forward nonsense way. More

Don’t go here My car tires were totally fine when I drove in my car in Hyundai Autonation. I went there for some other service, they fixed it but with that they sai My car tires were totally fine when I drove in my car in Hyundai Autonation. I went there for some other service, they fixed it but with that they said one of my car tires has a nail in it. There was no nail, no TPMS sign when I went there. They showed me the nail, it was like a brand new screw. I had no choice other than agreeing and asking them to fix it. Please don’t go here. More

How about going into a car dealership to talk with a sales man about buying a new car. How many tricks will they pull on you? How many surprise added fees down the line? Not so with Auto Nation's sales associate John Kraniotis. I found him to be a straight shooter who helped me make a smart buying decision. His friendly demeanor and expertise about cars helped me to become comfortable with the whole process. Plus, he spent extra time a couple of days later to help me take advantage the ins-and-outs of the new car's features (which were new to me). Do yourself a favor and visit John as part of choosing which car and which dealership you want to buy from. More

Great buying experience Traveled from Michigan to help my daughter's first used car purchase. He was very thorough over the live feed even showing all anomalies on the car (light scratches..etc) to ensure no surprises if we decided to take the 280 mile road trip. When we finally saw the car in person, it was what we expected and the car looked like it was a brand new 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited with 18K miles. Transaction went smooth, no hidden charges and best part was the car was a Certified Pre-Owned which gave me peace of mind due to the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. My daughter was extremely happy with her purchase and was able to learn a lot from the experience from comparisons with other dealerships who tried to lure her into buying their cars with questionable "fees" being added to the advertised price. Overall great buying experience from AutoNation! More
