Dear Mr. Bucur, In response to the Dealerrater review dated 10-23-10. To best address your complaint I will go item by item. 1. Keyless entry remote programing is considered an adjustment item covered for the first year or 12,000 miles from date of service. Your vehicle is 15 months and 4 days old. This normally has a shop charge of $59.95, Jessica did this a a good will for you, and charged you nothing, your welcome! 2.TSB. The TSB you provided (09-01-02) does not exist in the Hyundai database, there is no TSB on the 45 to 50 MPH abnormal vibration. This sounds like a BLOG campaign, not an official Hyundai concern. Note the multi-point inspection we supplied you with, it tells the story on your tires. With your tire wear the tires are in the caution area, to get rid of the vibration the tires need to be aligned, eventually that may help reduce the vibration. The tires really need to be replaced to eliminate the problem. 3. Steering wheel. We found no issue with the steering concern you mentioned. We lubricated the steering shaft boot hoping to lessen your occasional noise. Again, it was working as designed at inspection. 4. Engine noise. We felt the noise was coming from the air filter box, due to an aftermarket air filter assembly installed. We were never authorized to install the recommened air filter to eliminate the issue. You purchased a factory air filter after the fact and installed it yourself, not giving us the opportunity to determine what the real problem is. 5. "A" Pillar noise. This vehicle has an aftermarket windshield causing the problem. The well known fact you claim is just another BLOG campaign. Hyundai has no issues with "A" pillar noise with a factory windshield. 6. Left outer mirror vibration..Caused by external damage to the assembly, not factory warranty. I suggest you contact your insurance provider. 7. Gulf of Mexico oil spill..Your refering to a job that was performed 2 years ago, an a different vehicle. The work completed was a trans service, which is under the engine, that would have not caused oil to appear on the motor. This is also the first time you have mentioned this. 8. Beautiful Saturday..your car was checked in at 9:31am, you left the dealership at 12:43. note your paperwork with time stamps. With 8 items to check the time spent was very reasonable. What did you do from 12:43pm until 4:30pm.? If you had an issue with your level of service, it would have been nice to contact the service manager to get his assistance.
