I bought my first Subaru in CO, before making the move to Oceanside, CA. One thing I loved about Subaru is they made me feel like a part of their family, rather than just another customer. When I moved I wondered if I would find that sense of family with a Subaru dealership out here. I was so fortunate to find Bob Baker Subaru. Let me just say, I felt the love here at Bob Baker!! Even just bringing my Subaru to be serviced (before purchasing from them) I felt valued. I undoubtedly found that sense of family once again. That is something I LOVE about Subaru. After three years of servicing my first Subaru here at Bob Baker, I ended up purchasing a Subaru CrossTrek from Bob Baker Subaru. My experiences with the Sales/Finance departments were no different. Purchasing a new vehicle is no small investment. They realize this. They are knowledgeable and truly listen to their customers. Respectful and helpful. They showed me vehicles that were within my means and met my criteria. There weren’t any surprises and I love that I never felt pressured to spend above my means or sacrifice what I wanted in a vehicle. They were patient and spent quality time answering my questions/making sure I knew what my options were. I must say, they have a great inventory of vehicles on their lot. I could go on and on about the positives but hopefully you get my point. I have been part of the Bob Baker family for 3+ years and can honestly say, I have nothing negative to say! They uphold a standard of excellence, and their customer service in ALL departments is unparalleled. You can feel this in the atmosphere! The employees are all personable, professional, qualified, and valuable members of the Bob Baker family. Really, every single one of them. How rare is it to find a staff like this?! They create the Bob Baker Experience! I love that I can schedule a service and know that no matter who I work with, I will be taken care of. And not just me, but also my PIC (partner in crime), Bella (my dog). They are so welcoming of her & show her the love (she loves going there and trust me, she knows who has treats!). I really appreciate that Bella (& all dogs) are part of the “Bob Baker Experience”. As mentioned, every employee has exceeded my expectations. But I wanted to give a shout out to the staff who I worked with most recently. TANNER KNAPP (service department) and ROBERT SIMON (Sales Manager)—There is good, then there is great, THEN there is Y’ALL! If I had to describe the quality of experience you provided Bella and I at our last visit in one word it would be OUTSTANDING! I hope you know know valuable that is in creating this sense of “family”. I appreciate you! It’s because of these experiences that I will be a lifelong, loyal customer at Bob Baker Subaru! Yuri was great! Followed up with me proactively on all my issues. Rob, on the other hand, totally blew me off when I told him there were a few marks on my car that needed some attention. Made up some excuse about how it always happens and proceeded to show me some random used Subaru in the parking lot as justification. They also tried to rip me off on a tailgate installation. They wanted to charge me $1080 and I called Irvine Subaru and they quoted me $750 for the exact same thing. Didn’t even price match when I told them that, so just decided to do it elsewhere. More

I had the easiest and most enjoyable car buying experience- even during the COVID crisis. The process was fairly quick and everyone I dealt with was efficient and friendly.
