I brought in my 2012 Cooper S for what was clearly a footwell module related problem. Ashley blamed the issue on the car having an aftermarket battery, then tried to get me to spend $800 for a new BMW footwell module related problem. Ashley blamed the issue on the car having an aftermarket battery, then tried to get me to spend $800 for a new BMW battery a reprogramming the car’s software. I called my regular mechanic who said Ashley’s explanation was nonsense. I also contacted one of the preeminent Mini mechanics in the country (Waylen at Way Motorworks) who also called xx. Ultimately I was forced to pay $540 for diagnostic fees and software programming. I’ve written to Mini USA to lodge a final complaint and ask for a refund. As a side note- always remember that dealership Service Writers (Ashley) are paid commission, and sometimes are paid SOLELY on commission, so the more they force YOU to pay, the more salary they make personally. That’s why they call them “stealerships”. Do yourself a favor and take your cars to Luxury Import Specialists or Westlink Auto where the owners and mechanics are honest and reputable. More
Went for a schedule service by BMW. As always, I called and Austin Landers that has become a good friend with the years, was very helpful and informed me what the service would be done As always, I called and Austin Landers that has become a good friend with the years, was very helpful and informed me what the service would be done on my I4 M50. Everything was arranged like transportation and after offering a service loaner I told him that it was more than OK to just have someone drive me home and pick me up when service would be completed. The service that this department offer to its customer is amazing because of Austin and the rest of the team. Walser BMW is an impressing facility but without Austin it would be just another dealership. There are no doubts that Austin and all the service team are a important asset to the company. Thank you, guys, for your amazing customer care and keep it going !!! More
