No haggle pricing is a gimmick intended to serve the interests of the dealer, not the customer. BMW of Wichita has a vehicle that I'm interested in, but it's priced easily $5,000 above market. They have a nearly identical car at the same price that's been on their lot for nearly 60 days. They have a 2022 that's been on their lot for 250 days and the price has incrementally dropped by $10,000. Had they just priced the 2022 right from the get-go it would be long gone. The vehicle I'm looking at has been on their lot for a week. Apparently they would rather sit on their inventory rather than price it fairly, get it out the door and keep their money moving. They seem to forget that vehicles are depreciating assets and the longer they sit the less they're worth. More
