BMW afforded me an Uber ride home after dropping off my car, because a loaner was not immediately available. I appreciate that service! I felt my service advisor could’ve been more communicative with me, but it wasn’t necessarily bad either. I was afforded a direct contact method to my service advisor, and I think that is the only way to conduct service business. This way, I don’t have to go through the whole phone system to reach a service advisor. But, There were things going on like Uber rides and such that I was trying to schedule and my advisor being more communicative as to service timelines and such would’ve been more helpful. My advisor was not from a technician background, so she assisted me in getting necessary information from the mechanic, as to the problem, the extent of damage and the necessary repair. This communication with the mechanic was essential and welcomed. My advisor also set me up with a loaner vehicle on the second day of my 2-day service, which I am appreciative for. The shop foreman introduced himself and assisted greatly with the mechanic-customer communication as well. I appreciate BMW’s efforts with getting me in and fully serviced so quickly. More
