I recently purchased a Pre-Certified 2009 BMW 335I. I requested that I receive an Oil Service and Change prior to picking up the car from the dealorship in August 2012. I was told that it had been done, and actually had to wait for about 2hours for them to bring it over to the dealership fro the service department. I have had nothing but problems since acquiring this LEMON. !st the heater went out on the car, then, the car had an oil leak, at which time they fixed but I was told that I had to pay a 50.oo labor fee. When I drove the car to NC. the engine light kept coming on and I was told that they put a part in wrong. then all in September, I needed new brake pads rear, which they again, claimed to have fixed. THen the heater that they fixed acquired a humming noise. My service light kept coming on and when I told them, they stated that they could find no problem. Then after my mileage reaches 50,000, I'm told that I need a complete oil change service. WHAT? after 5months and they already did it? This time however I was to be charged 700.00. I took it to another service who did the oil change/service, and was told that my brakes front were at 15% and my back ones at 38% meaning that I needed brakes front and back! Also that a coil was found to be corroded!!!!! All of the numerous times before I took my car into Bayside and noone noticed. Oh yeah, and that Alberto is a real piece of work, he knows absolutely NOTHING! He has to be related to someone to be in that position. He even accused me of recording him with my phone!!! Is he paranoid???? wow! NEVER WILL I EVER PURCHASE, RECOMMEND, or service my car at this "bootleg" poor excuse for a service center, ever. also, I submitted a review earlier and it was DELETED??!!!! Now, I'm sitting in the dealership and the Frank want to give me 30% off of the repair of my front brakes???? are they serious!!!! More
had yearly service but also had issue with my trunk light going on. Jennifer was very thorough on the problem and found out the issue. Car need to have software upgrade and new parts. Horrible customer service! My family has always owned BMW's and I bought my car 4 years ago after college. I tend to travel for work and stopped by this location to get my coolant topped off. As soon as I got there, I received an awful attitude because all I asked for was if they can top of my coolant. The guy then stated since I didn't purchase my vehicle at their dealership, I had to purchase the bottle of coolant... really? Just for a top off? I immediately left and made an appointment at BMW Manhattan, got my oil service and other necessities, and had the best experience! This is what BMW customer service is all about. More
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Where do i begin? Things started off good. Salesman was friendly and willing to negotiate. After that, it all went down hill. I was promised my car in two weeks...ended up being six weeks. The salesman could not give me a straight answer on the delivery of my car and i had to call him several times to get an answer. Manager got involved and at first was very responsive but quickly fizzled out. I was promised sirius radio in my car and two days after having the car, i realized that i didnt have it. i complained to manager and salesman said he never said that the car came with it...essentially calling me a liar. They did put it in for free (kudos) but when I went to the service department, apparently the dealership did not give the service department the right paperwork to install the sirius radio. Another fiasco in which we had to call the dealership and waste more of our time. So what now??? Since that fiasco at the service shop, no one has called to apologize. No one has called to see how I am liking the car. To top it all off, I wrote an email to their customer service manager (Frank Allen), giving them one more chance to comment on the whole experience and nothing back from them!!! I wasn't even going to write a bad review (never done one before)because i usually let things slide. To top it all off, i just got word that they never sent my insurance company documentation needed. I gave them a call but guess what???? No one called back - SHOCKER. Bottom line - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I dont demand much as a customer...just want to be treated fairly and when i spend a lot of money on a car, wouldn't mind some good customer service....too much to ask? I would never recommend this dealership and would not go back for my lease renewal. They lost a potential long-standing customer because i do love the car. More

I will never return to bayside BMW. Customer of bayside BMW for years, in the old service department in bayside where staff and managment would run to help you, and will never return or tell anyone to go to bayside BMW. After my 100 th time trying to get in touch with the service department and not getting an answer! I had emailed the service manager, Marlo Bellizzi, who had helped me in the past. She responded right b service department and not getting an answer! I had emailed the service manager, Marlo Bellizzi, who had helped me in the past. She responded right back, calling me and helped make me my appointment and offered me a loaner car so I wouldn't have to wait for my services. Marlo is great and knows how to treat customers. Keep up the good work Marlo. Whenever I need anything I will be calling her, instead of being on hold for over 15 mins More
leased my 1st BMW from Bayside BMW 3 yrs ago. To my misfortune my 335xi coupe was plagued with problems from a bad fuel pump to bad injectors which had my car on a flat bed numerous times. While Marlo the service manager was empathetic to my situation it took negative posts on BMW's facebook and twitter to get satisfaction which I eventually got from BMW not the dealership. On the service side in the 10 or so times I had bring my car in I was met with rude girls behind the desk with nasty attitudes who'd chit chat instead of helping expedite customers. My sister and mother have had numerous BMW's with very good experiences. Figuring with all I went through when my lease came due I'd give Bayside a chance to make it up to me. After 20 e-mails from the salesman to lease another BMW I told him what I wanted and what price I wanted it at figuring they'd make an effort to retain me given what I've been through over the past 3 yrs. Boy was I wrong! The response from the salesman was "The vehicle you are looking for we can't make a deal with your numbers. Good luck". How's that for a smack in the face! On my sisters recommendation I called Joe Segreti at Wide World of Cars who not only secured the car I wanted at the price I needed but made the whole experience a pleasure and saved a customer. Thumbs down to Bayside BMW! More
