I walked into the BMW of Bridgewater dealership not expecting to buy a car. I have 4 months left on a current lease and I wasn't expecting the "lure" of BMW to attract me all that much. It all started with my Client Advisor, Anthony Catena. You cant find a better prepared, more customer service oriented individual than Anthony. Even though I "bought" I never felt I was "sold" anything. Anthony Catena is outstanding and I cant recommend him enough. He went over every feature in great detail. Anthony made it look so natural and easy. He got me the price I was comfortable with. Anthony then introduced me to the PreOwned Manager, Tom Forget. Tom is a very warm, professional gentleman who made me feel very welcome. He had a great knowledge of the product and was a real good guy to deal with. When it came time to finalize the deal, the business manager Ozzy Mamoor was there to tie it up quickly and painlessly. Ozzy is a tremendously personable guy who handled my transaction professionally. I had hope that buying a BMW would be an experience that would be as upscale as the car itself. I am not a real fancy guy, but they all treated me like gold. The whole buying experience was exactly what you dream it would be. The ultimate buying experience of the ultimate driving machine! The nicest and most efficient BMW dealer I have been to. It seems that the smaller independent dealers try harder. Mostata was most helpful, friendly, and timely. He kept me informed of the service time required. Due to proximity to work, I used the complimentary shuttle service back and forth. Both drivers were very nice, good drivers, and personable. Mo receives a "great" from me for customer service. Only suggestion I have is that no one acknowledges you when you come in the showroom....especially when coming in from the service dropoff area. It is also not clear where to wait for the next service assoicate and the order of which clients are taken. For this...BMW gets a "good" rating from me. More
I am glad I chose BMW of Bridgewater; I've purchased other new vehicles in the past and did not receive the level of care or professionalism. Buying a new vehicle can be dreadful with aggressive car sa other new vehicles in the past and did not receive the level of care or professionalism. Buying a new vehicle can be dreadful with aggressive car salesman; I did not experience these tactics at all. I walked into the dealer with a specific pre-owned vehicle in mind, and was not pressured into looking at a vehicle out of my price point. My Client Advisor Mike Watson was very knowledge regarding the vehicle. After, scouring the internet for my 2013 328i xDrive I finally made the leap and believe I received a fair price. I would highly recommend Mike Watson and BMW of Bridgewater if you're looking for a pleasant buying experience. More

It should never be just about getting you to sign on the dotted line, but being just as responsive and helpful after the sale (or at least close to it). I don't know about others, but I definitely didn't get that here. I needed to do a refinance of the loan to add my wife on the loan and after an initial two line response to a question I sent in, I basically got ignored by the finance dept for 5 weeks. Multiple emails and voicemails and calls unanswered. I finally did the refinance myself through my bank, and sent an email to the GM, Mike Yate, explaning my disappointment at the whole thing. I have yet to get a response to that either. I remember my inbox was basically flooded when I was considering the purchase and dealing with them. The irony is that we were doing the refinance so that we could get another car in the new year. That won't be from Bridgewater BMW. ORIGINAL REVIEW IS BELOW. Buying my first car in my mid thirties (that's what happens when you move to NJ I suppose), I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone was extremely helpful, honest and patient. I exchanged numerous emails with Amelia LaPera initially and then Mike Watson, who listened to what I wanted and made it happen. The business manager was also great in getting us financing at a fair rate and I am incredibly happy with both the service and my purchase. More
