Hi Mr. Fallone, I do apologize for your negative service experience. I think there might have been a communication issue with the advisor you worked with the day of your service. When 1 coil goes bad, especially with your mileage, it is always recommended that you replace them all. If we are not sure of spark plugs being border line on the replacement schedule, we do recommend them also so that an issue does not occur after a lengthy repair is performed. If the advisor did not express that properly I do apologize for that, but it is for the best interest of the customer on a high mileage vehicle that the possibilities of future problems are presented when the repair involves the same location in an engine. Engines on high mileage vehicles have to be handled with care because of the unforeseen and that is why we try to present all scenarios in our service department. I am concerned though on all the oil leaks that were present on your vehicle. I do not know how any mechanic would have missed that because those are the additional services we recommended. We try to stay competitive with our surrounding dealers but once you go to an independent shop, prices will be substantially lower due to the restrictions that they don't have to adhere as would a dealership. If you have any concerns with the repairs we recommended into the future, we would be more than happy to try to come within the range of the independent shop as far as cost to get your car fixed.
