Best BMW Dealership In & Around Baltimore I had been wanting to buy either a AUDI Q5 or BMW X3, and was getting in touch with the dealerships. However few of them were lousy given that either I had been wanting to buy either a AUDI Q5 or BMW X3, and was getting in touch with the dealerships. However few of them were lousy given that either they didn't come back or were simply not interested as they weren't following up. However the one dealership with stood out from the rest was the BMW of Catonsville. I remember that i put up an enquiry on Friday night and requested for an appointment on Saturday morning and I received the call promptly from Tom Eaton of BMW. I firmly believe that the people make or break the reputation of the place and Tom is an perfect example of this. He came up as a thorough professional with a good knowledge of the vehicle that he was showing us and was very friendly and made us (my family) very comfortable. He was very honest in his opinions as I wasn't yet decided on choosing between BMW & AUDI Q5. I would recommend the BMW of Catonsville as the first preference & you might want to even ask for Tom. The BEST BMW Dealership in MD for both Service & Sales!! After moving to the area about 2 years ago and having an absolutely awful experience at the closest BMW dealership to my house (BMW of Annapolis - the After moving to the area about 2 years ago and having an absolutely awful experience at the closest BMW dealership to my house (BMW of Annapolis - they REALLY suck!!!), I decided I would try another BMW dealership and see if their service department was any better - that's when I found BMW of Catonsville. I called to schedule my first service appointment there and the receptionist seemed friendly and they appeared to be relatively organized. Immediately upon arriving at the dealership, I was greeted before I could even get out of my car by a friendly service assistant who did a quick inspection of my car and then directed me to my service advisor, Ricky Catalan. Ricky is knowledgeable, friendly, down to earth, and very customer service oriented. Ever since that first experience with their service department, the excellent work that has been done on my car, and the OUTSTANDING customer service I have recieved from Ricky, I couldn't imagine taking my car anywhere else! Every time I need to take my car in for service I feel like they roll out the red carpet for me! And since Ricky has been so amazing, it is primarily because of him that I just recently traded in my 2008 BMW 135i for a new 2015 BMW M235i - I couldn't imagine buying a car elsewhere because I wouldn't want to have to get it serviced somewhere else! So of course when I was thinking about getting a new car, I asked Ricky which sales person there I should talk to - and I specifically told him that it had to be someone who wasn't the typical pushy sales guy type - that's when he referred me to Jeff Beck. After always having such a great experience with their service department, I prepared myself for having a crappy experience with the sales department because that's usually the way it works - you have a good experience with one department and a crappy experience with another department because its really rare to find an entire dealership that is on top of their game as a whole. However, I was definitely proven to be VERY wrong about that after meeting with Jeff. I explained to him what I was interested in and he was friendly and knowledgeable, yet very honest about things, which is exactly how a sales person should be! He also went above and beyond to find me the exact car I was looking for so that I wouldn't have to order it and wait 3 months for delivery of it. Much to my surprise, he ended up finding me the exact car I was looking for at another dealership in the area and told me if we worked out a deal that evening, he would personally go get the car that night and I could have it the next day...how awesome is that!?! So we agreed on a very fair value for my trade and I was happy with the deal that we worked out on the new car - I was actually very surprised at how quick and painless the negotiation process was, considering the negotiation process for my first BMW was a nightmare!! This was definitely the BEST experience I have had when buying a car. And just when I thought things couldn't get any better, Jeff introduced me to their BMW "Genius" - Justin Allen - who was insanely knowledgeable and patient when explaining and showing me everything that my new car could do. He even gives his cell # to new customers in case they have an issue with anything and he insists that you can call or text him any time of day and he will gladly walk you through how to help you. It's that kind of personal touch that makes everyone that I have worked with at BMW of Catonsville a valuable asset to their dealership and an absolute pleasure to work with if you're a customer. The other BMW dealerships in the area should really take a few lessons from BMW of Catonsville on how a successful dealership should be run. I HIGHLY recommend buying a car from BMW of Catonsville (specifically from Jeff Beck) and getting it serviced there as well (definitely ask for Ricky) - the best BMW dealership in Maryland by far!!!! Within a few days and a few emails back and forth, the deal was solidified and ready to go. Flew up to Maryland 2 weeks later and exactly what we discussed remotely was exactly the price given to me. I specifically asked for a salesperson who did not pressure clients. We were referred to Jeff Beck, and the experience from 10 AM to 5 PM was exceptional. He answered every question we asked, searched for the car which met our needs, and never once showed impatience when something did not work out. Although we had a preowned car in mind to purchase, we found a new car which was exactly what we were looking for. Larry Cash was the financial guru who had more papers on his desk for the sale of one car than we could imagine. He got us through all of it in a timely manner. Every aspect of the day was terrific, although tiring! BMW provided a lovely lunch for their clients and made every effort to make us comfortable. Each person in the queue whom we needed to see was very cordial. Kudos to the BMW "Genius", Justin, who had more information about the car to give us than we were able to process. But...he is available any day for an encore. More
